Former WWE Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Vincent Kennedy McMahon was involved in a car accident in Westport, Connecticut, last week.  He was cited for reckless driving and following too closely, and will appear in court next month.

The accident, which involved multiple vehicles, took place on the Merritt Parkway in Westport.  McMahon was driving a Bentley at the time of the crash, which has been described as serious.

McMahon, who stepped down from his role as WWE showrunner in 2022 amid allegations of misconduct, has been a towering figure in professional wrestling for decades.  This latest incident, however, casts a new spotlight on his public life.

Details about the accident remain limited, but it is confirmed that McMahon was issued a misdemeanour summons for reckless driving and following too closely resulting in an accident.  He is scheduled to appear in court late next month to face these charges.

Francine Fournier - a well-known figure in the wrestling world - has recently disclosed some troubling health news.

The 53-year-old, who is known by the moniker Queen Of Extreme, revealed on her podcast and YouTube channel that doctors have discovered a small mass in her left breast.

While she is currently awaiting further test results, the news has understandably caused her significant anxiety. 

Best known for her time in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) from 1995 to 2001, where she was a prominent valet and manager, Francine also had a brief stint return to ECW in 2006.

Since stepping away from in-ring competition, she has remained connected to the wrestling community through her podcast and various media appearances. 

In her recent disclosure, Francine mentioned that this is not the first time she has faced such a health scare.

When she was 21, she underwent a biopsy for a similar mass in her left breast, which was found to be benign.

She vividly recalled the procedure, describing how doctors extracted fluid for testing.

Despite this past experience, the current situation has left her feeling uneasy, particularly as her mother recently overcame Breast Cancer, adding a deeply personal dimension to her concerns.

The wrestling community has rallied around Francine, with fans, fellow wrestlers, expressing their support and sending well-wishes for her health and recovery.

As she awaits the results of her tests, the outpouring of encouragement reflects the impact she has had on the industry and the respect she commands within it.  

While Francine’s health remains the primary focus, it is worth noting that she has also been in the spotlight recently for other reasons.

Reports indicate that she was in discussions for an appearance on WWE's NXT programme, though it is unclear whether her health concerns will affect those plans.
