A joyful birthday celebration turns to horror when a young girl is discovered dead close to a Traveller Site on the outskirts of Aberdeen.

What begins as a missing-persons inquiry rapidly escalates into a double-murder investigation, exposing long-simmering hostilities between the Travelling Community and the Aberdonian population.

Detective Lindo and her team race to piece together the truth while community tensions threaten to erupt into open conflict.

To breach the closed ranks of the travellers, the detectives enlist an experienced Family Liaison Officer whose insight becomes vital.

As secrets surface that risk tearing families and neighbourhoods apart, the team must navigate deep-rooted distrust and cultural barriers if they are to prevent further tragedy and uncover the killer before the fragile peace shatters completely.
