Why did you apply to be on this new series of Big Brother?
I've been watching Big Brother for years, and I think it's just a once in a lifetime opportunity. I had the opportunity to apply, and I just thought, ‘this could be a lot of fun’. And here I am!

What do you think you’ll bring to the House?
I think I will bring a lot of craic to the house. I think I will try my best to make everybody laugh and just be positive.

What are you looking forward to the most about being a Housemate? 
Just being in there. I think I’ll be like, ‘oh my God, I'm actually in the Big Brother house’.

Do you have a strategy for making it to the final? 
I do have a strategy to make it to the final. My strategy is to just be myself. There's nothing you can do, if the public wants you to win, you’ll win if you’re being yourself.

What are you most likely to get nominated for? 
I think I’m most likely to be nominated for being too honest. Because if you ask for my opinion, you're going to get it.

Tell us one thing about yourself you think will surprise people the most.
One thing about me that would surprise people most is that I can rap. Surprising, eh?

What would you do with the money if you won?
If I won Big Brother, I would go on as many holidays as I can.

Why did you apply to be on this new series of Big Brother?
I've always wanted to do it; I love being around a lot of people and I've got to get out of the house and give my mum a break.

What do you think you'll bring to the House?
I think I'll bring a lot of fun to the house; I'll definitely bring a lot of energy. I want to get people doing Zumba and morning yoga every day. I hope we can have little sing-alongs too. I think I'll be good entertainment for all the housemates. I’m also a good listener; I cry at anything so I can empathise and think I’ll be a good friend to have in there.

What are you looking forward to the most about being a Housemate?
I'm looking forward to making new friends, hopefully learning some new life skills and seeing what things come out of this experience.

Do you have a strategy for making it to the final?
If I had a strategy, I would forget it halfway through, so I'm not going to give myself that task. I'm just going to be me and hope for the best.

What are you most likely to get nominated for?
Maybe talking too much. And apparently, I talk in my sleep now as well so that's not great. So probably talking too much or being a bit too emotional and maybe being too energetic sometimes.

Tell us one thing about yourself you think will surprise people the most.
I'm kind of what you see is what you get. But saying that, maybe everything's a surprise. I’m full of surprises.

What would you do with the money if you won the money?
I would go to Disneyland on holiday. I would get myself a gorgeous apartment and a fluffy cat.

Why did you apply to be on this new series of Big Brother?
I saw an advertisement to apply on TikTok, and I thought, ‘okay, I'm just going to apply. Like, I'm just going to do it’. I feel like you’re only 21 once. And why not!

What do you think you’ll bring to the House?
Sunshine and laughter.

What are you looking forward to the most about being a Housemate? 
I think I'm looking forward to the experience as a whole, but also making new friendships.

Do you have a strategy for making it to the final?
No, I don’t have a strategy other than just going in there and being myself.

What are you most likely to get nominated for?
Probably for being too sensitive. And then probably having a tantrum.

Tell us one thing about yourself you think will surprise people the most.
My tomboy side, but I'm not sure if people are going to get to see that in the House. Also, my spiritual side. I've recently become religious.

What would you do with the money if you won?
I would definitely get a little studio flat. That’ll probably be the best thing for me and my dog.

Why did you apply to be on Big Brother?
It was always a bucket list experience. I've always wanted to do something like this and I thought it would be a fun story to tell one day. Me being on the show might also potentially help with my business as well.

What do you think you’ll bring to the House?
Being part of the ‘buff butler’ stuff, you naturally fall into the role of an entertainer, getting folks chatting and mingling and maybe playing a couple daft games. It depends what everyone else is like. I'm very versatile - I can have quite deep and intellectual conversations, and I can also be a bit daft.

What are you looking forward to most about being a Housemate?
I think just the full experience of it all. Weirdly, I'm excited to not have my phone - to just be completely isolated from everything and focus and connect with people. I think it'll be an interesting experience to discover more of myself in there. When you're stripped of everything, when I don't have anything to distract me. I’m looking forward to just chatting and building a rapport.

Do you have a strategy for making it to the final?
Honestly, not at all. I don't think I could play a game for seven weeks - you can't pretend to be someone else for seven weeks. The only way you get that far is by being yourself because otherwise the mask would slip.

What are you most likely to get nominated for?
I think the thing I’ll get nominated for is maybe being a bit too boisterous or loud, perhaps – it depends on who I’m with. If I get on really well with a couple of people, I’ll be pretty loud. And then the people I’m maybe not that close with could find that a little annoying.

Tell us one thing about yourself you think will surprise people the most.
I've got a Masters with distinction in Mechanical Engineering, I can play the piano and guitar and I’ve got other hidden talents that really surprise people.

What would you do with the money if you won?
It’s so boring but I would invest it. I’m pretty aware that a sudden burst of attention or income – that’s all it’s going to be is a burst. So if you think that’s evergreen then you’ll end up in the same situation as before. I’m not going to have this forever, so I’ll invest the money and make it work for me. And hopefully set myself up for a decent life.

Why did you apply to be on this new series of Big Brother? 
I just thought why not - this is something that not many people get the opportunity to do, and to say that I've done it is so surreal – those are the sort of things I love to do.

What do you think you’ll bring to the House?
I bring energy, a lot of energy, and a lot of playfulness. I can also bring a little bit of stirring the pot from time to time.

What are you looking forward to the most about being a Housemate? 
I'm looking forward to just being thrown in the mixing bowl of a group of people who I don’t know and watching all their personalities unfold. I’m buzzing.

Do you have a strategy for making it to the final? 
I don't have a strategy. My mum and my dad have both said: ‘it's a game, you need to play the game.’ But how do you play a game in Big Brother? I’ll just have to go in and see what happens.

What are you most likely to get nominated for? 
I'm probably most likely to be nominated for maybe being a bit too energetic, too over the top, too loud. It might become a little bit too much for some people.

Tell us one thing about yourself you think will surprise people the most.
The most surprising thing is I've got eight brothers and five sisters - a big family.

What would you do with the money if you won?
I'll probably pay off the car finance agreement first. And I want to go to Australia, so I’ll probably treat myself to a trip there.

Why did you apply to be on this new series of Big Brother?
I applied because I love doing things for the plot. I love a fun experience and meeting new people. And I guess this is just another crazy chapter in my very crazy life!

What do you think you’ll bring to the House?
I'll definitely bring a lot of noise. But also, a lot of excitement and enthusiasm. I'm so enthusiastic that people often think I'm being sarcastic. However, I will definitely bring fun, so I'll make sure that nobody is bored in the house.

What are you looking forward to the most about being a Housemate?
I'm looking forward to meeting all the other housemates. Working in politics, I've met all sorts of characters, so I'm definitely used to a big range of personalities. But I just love meeting new people and seeing what they have to offer.

Do you have a strategy for making it to the final?
I haven't really thought about a strategy, although I do think people look at me and think I'm very ditzy because I've got blonde hair and fake nails. So, I think that could definitely play to my advantage, because they better watch out! I'm actually a lot cleverer.

What are you most likely to get nominated for? 
I think I'm most likely to be nominated for talking too much or being too loud, because I just let the impulsive thoughts out when there's something I want to say. I can't stand silence. I have to fill the silence all the time. So, I'm sure that might give some Housemates a headache, but I think it's fun.

Tell us one thing about yourself you think will surprise people the most.
People are often surprised that I'm into politics because maybe I don't fit the normal stereotype. Also, I'm a massive football fan - I go to home and away games by myself. Up the Villa!

What would you do with the money if you won?
If I win the money, I want to go on holiday. First and foremost, treat the girls. But then, I think I'd be a bit sensible and maybe put some aside. But that’s kind of boring, so who knows, I might just end up splashing it all and having a good time!

Why did you apply to be on this new series of Big Brother?
I applied for the cash prize mostly. And experience as well, but the money for sure. Winning that amount would be amazing. You’ve got to be in it to win it.

What do you think you'll bring to the House?
I can speak to anyone – I’m very bubbly. I'm quite a good cook – not gourmet standards but I can feed people. I'm a cleaner so will be able to keep the house tidy. I'm very competitive and I'm good at games so I think I would be good at whatever tasks I’m faced with.

What are you looking forward to the most about being a Housemate?
I think the tasks for sure. They look really fun, and I think I'm really going to get stuck into them.

Do you have a strategy for making it to the final?
No. You can't really strategise on this show because the public sees everything. If you want to be disingenuous, people will see it. You can make it all the way to the end of the show being like that, but the public aren’t going to vote for you to win. I’m just going in there and going to be myself.

What do you think you're most likely to get nominated for?
Probably being loud. I think I’m alright to live with, but I can be a bit loud. I do also say what’s on my mind. If I have a problem I will say. So people might take that the wrong way and see it as me being rude. But I do like to just get things off my chest; people might not like the directness of it.

Tell us one thing about yourself you think will surprise people the most.
That I've been saving up for a house deposit since I was 11. But I haven’t really got too far with that.

What would you do with the money if you won?
I would definitely put a deposit down on a house. In Bristol, or maybe Newport because Bristol is super expensive.

Why did you apply to be on this new series of Big Brother?
I'm in this weird in-between where I've recently left the corporate world into having a bit of a looser schedule while I get qualified and build my business, so it felt like a ‘why not’ situation. I’m someone who doesn't have much of a social battery that runs out, so I'm very intrigued to see how far that goes in the house. Also, being trans, I think that a lot of the media narrative at the moment is taken out of our hands, and it will be nice to re-centre that and retake control. Shows like Big Brother show the normality of people - you can't get more personal than watching someone 24/7.

What do you think you’ll bring to the House?
I'm quite an energetic person. I think that's both a strength and a weakness. I might get a little bit unbearable without the gym - that's definitely my main coping mechanism for the chaotic-ness of the energy I have. I'm very social - I'm someone who takes on the role of the rounder-upper. I like to organise things, I like to do things in a group. I’d like to think that I'd contribute to group work in the house. And I'm really looking forward to the tasks, so I think I'd be someone who can throw themselves into that.

What are you looking forward to the most about being a Housemate?
I've set myself an aim to make at least one good friend in the House – I’d love that. I think being able to connect with people will be something I’m quite intrigued by. It will be nice to be around a combination of different people that otherwise I wouldn't necessarily have met. And the tasks - I think the tasks could be quite fun.

Do you have a strategy for making it to the final?
No. I have a strategy for coping. I’m aware that when you’re in there you apparently forget about the cameras. I'm hoping I do because there's a lot of pressure to try and get things right. My main aim is to not hold my personality back out of fear of getting things wrong. I would like to win, I would like to get to the final, but I don’t really have a strategy on how to get there.

What are you most likely to get nominated for?
I can be quite opinionated but I'd like to think that wouldn't necessarily be a reason to nominate me. My strategy for those situations is to talk it out. I think also maybe food (or lack of) might be another reason for me being nominated. I can get very hangry. That might get to people.

Tell us one thing about yourself you think will surprise people the most.
That I am trans is usually quite surprising, because I have a combination of stereotypical masculine traits in the fact that I’m a PT and I like the gym. But I think the more surprising element is that there’s a level of femininity to me, and I think that is shown in the way that I connect with people and the way I carry myself.

What would you do with the money if you won?
I've had a few thoughts about this - I think the biggest thing would be that I’d contribute towards my business - training LGBT people and women. On a smaller note, I’d like to take my girlfriend on a really lovely holiday to say sorry for leaving her while I’m in the Big Brother House.

Why did you apply to be on this new series of Big Brother? 
I left my job to set up my own company and, in Yorkshire, there's not that many celebrities, so I haven't had much luck because I don't live in London anymore. So, I went to the job centre and the woman looked at my CV and said, ‘You should do something on the telly. You should write a book. You should go on social media, do videos. You’re too good to sit in an office, you've got too much going for you’. I laughed it off but I went home and saw the advertisement for Big Brother. So, I just did the video and never thought anything of it. I went back to thinking, ‘what am I going to do in my life?’. And then I got the phone call, and it just went from there and now we’re here!

What do you think you’ll bring to the House?
Quite a complex amount of things. One, I like to joke around, and I like to do practical jokes and stuff like that. Two, I'm very sensitive and caring. And I probably cry a lot. I don't think I'll be the mum of the house because I'm too naughty.

What are you looking forward to the most about being a Housemate? 
What I'm looking forward to is getting out of this world at the moment. Just getting off social media, getting away from my phone. I've had my phone since 1994. That's a long time. And I watch too much TV and there’s too much noise going on, so it'll be nice to just pretend that the world is beautiful.

Do you have a strategy for making it to the final? 
The only strategy I've got is to be myself, because I've never been able to be anyone else. My strategy is to try and have a good time, be good, no arguing with Big Brother, and to just get as many memories as possible.

What are you most likely to get nominated for? 
Being ratty. Because I can't stand people that snore, chew or make any noise. So, I'll probably be a bit ratty.

Tell us one thing about yourself you think will surprise people the most.
Probably that I’m a loner. I think everyone thinks I'm this big social butterfly. When I go out, I'll go out but when I stay in, I like it very quiet. I like my solitude.

What would you do with the money if you won?
I need to get some new patio doors. I need my house painted. I'd like a new front door. I need my shower mended. All the stuff that I've neglected while I haven't had a job. So, I want to get all those little bits done. I don't care about going on holiday or anything like that. I'll probably just take the dogs to my mum's and go off to Scotland to a nice cabin somewhere and then I’ll put the rest in the bank to live on.

Why did you apply to be on the new series of Big Brother?
It was a moment of time in my life where I felt so lost, and I was looking for a sign from the universe. And then I saw an advert for the show and I decided to apply. The auditions kept going and going and then I ended up here and I feel like it was the right choice. I feel like I’ve found something to do, and I can show people who I am.

What do you think you'll bring to the House?
Definitely being Italian, my fiery side. I'm very energetic, always talking, using my hands to talk and do things. I like to get up and dance and sing, I'm very up for that throughout the day. No matter what time it is. It could be as soon as I wake up, I will just always be a bundle of energy. So definitely my energy, but also my cooking skills because, again, I'm Italian so why not? I'll teach people how to cook!

What are you looking forward to the most about being a Housemate?
I don't want to sound too cliché but I was feeling very lost in my life because I had just graduated from university. I'm looking forward to discovering myself even more and seeing how I can connect with people that are different to me. And just seeing who I am as a person and finding out more about myself, connecting with others and making friends.

Do you have a strategy for making it to the final?
I feel like I should have a strategy, maybe people do, but I don't. I'm just going to be myself and see how it goes.

What are you most likely to get nominated for?
I'm very energetic, which can be a good thing. You will never get bored with me. But I might be too much for someone that likes a little bit of quiet time. I never shut up. I can just yap, yap, yap, yap, yap. So maybe they will find that a little bit annoying.

Tell us one thing about yourself you think will surprise people the most.
My accent. People may just think, ‘oh, yeah, she's Scottish, she's from Scotland, born and bred in Scotland’. But no, I don't have even one ounce of Scottish in me. I'm half Italian, half Polish, born and bred in Italy and then came here. I'm not Scottish at all. And that might surprise people because of my accent. And maybe another thing; my football knowledge may surprise people. I've been interested in football for the past few years and it's something I want to pursue later in life, maybe as a career, something to do with football media.

What would you do with the money if you went?
Last month I said something like, ‘football journalism or a football media internship’. But then I Googled it, and it would maybe be 10% of the money. So now I'm thinking maybe just travelling around the world and learning more languages. I can speak five, but I’d like to learn more. Also, I don't have a driving licence, so maybe the money could go towards lessons and getting a car and finally driving. Get over that fear of driving!
