As the nation's favourite Reality Television phenomenon gears up for its 25th year, Big Brother presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best are brimming with enthusiasm for the upcoming series.
Speaking ahead of the launch, the duo reflected on their journey with the show, which relaunched on ITV/STV two years ago, and teased what viewers can expect from the latest instalment.
"It's so exciting, especially in its 25th year - how iconic!" exclaimed Odudu, recalling her teenage fascination with the programme.
"I could never have dreamt as a teenager watching Big Brother for the first time that one day I would be saying 'Please do not swear' live to the nation alongside my very good friend Will Best."
Will Best echoed her sentiments, noting that when they first collaborated 11 years ago, the idea of hosting Big Brother together would have seemed laughable. "It feels very special," Odudu added.
Since wrapping Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, both presenters have kept busy.
Best jumped straight into presenting a breakfast show on Hits Radio, with a brief Summer break, while Odudu attended weddings, travelled abroad, got engaged, and launched "Served", a series of curated suppers designed to foster connections.
"I've loved it!" she shared.
Reflecting on the whirlwind of the past few years - encompassing two series each of Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother - Best described it as "a dream come true", while Odudu called it "a whirlwind".
The pair reminisced about their emotional first launch, holding hands and shedding tears in a taxi en route to the studio.
"We don’t stop pinching ourselves," Odudu said, highlighting the overwhelming public support.
Looking ahead, Best is most eager to spend quality time with Odudu amid their hectic schedules: "Having an environment where we can hang out and do something we love together for seven weeks is an absolute dream."
Odudu anticipates meeting the new housemates and enjoying an extra week of the series, likening the build-up to Christmas.
"In a few weeks we’re going to have brand-new housemates to be obsessed with," Best enthused.
Standout moments from last year's series included Odudu's heartfelt interview with housemate Hanah, offering sisterly comfort after revelations about flirtatious behaviour with Segun.
For Best, it was the unprecedented audio capture during a fire alarm evacuation, revealing Rosie asking Nathan out and glimpses of the smoking area.

For the new cast, the hosts hope for broad representation.
"Diversity in terms of age, in terms of background, in terms of political opinion," Best stated, with Odudu adding emphasis on gender identities and authenticity.
"We want to see all facets of British society represented," they agreed, approaching the series with open expectations.
As for launch night attire, Odudu promises an "evolution" of her memorable blue latex catsuit - something "jaw-dropping" and form-fitting. Best opts for a classic silhouette with "fun, sparkly flourishes."
With the series set to captivate audiences once more, Odudu and Best's passion ensures Big Brother remains a staple of British entertainment.
The launch of Big Brother's 25th anniversary series airs Sunday 28 September 2025 on ITV 2 and ITVX.
