Authorities in Police Scotland have issued an appeal for information to help locate a 53-year-old woman reported missing in Lossiemouth.

Carol Russell, also known as Raine, was last observed around 13:00 on Friday 31 October 2025 in the Boyd Anderson Drive area.

She is described as approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, of medium build, with long dark hair, and was last seen wearing a light blue cardigan and a long black skirt.


Concerns have arisen regarding her welfare, prompting requests for the public to check gardens, sheds, and outbuildings for any signs of her.

Individuals with relevant information are urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, referencing incident number 1452 of 31 October 2025.

A 27-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent has received a prison sentence of two years and ten months following offences committed against two women over a three-week period.

Junaid Mohammed was sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Tuesday 28 October 2025 after admitting charges of threatening to damage or destroy property, harassment putting a person in fear of violence, sending a communication threatening death or serious harm, and assault occasioning Actual Bodily Barm.

The incidents began in February 2025 when police responded to reports of an assault on a woman at a hotel in Stoke-on-Trent.

​Further investigations revealed that Mohammed had sent death threats to another woman, threatened to damage her vehicle and home, made repeated telephone calls to her, and positioned himself outside her residence when calls went unanswered.


Mohammed initially denied involvement but later entered guilty pleas.

The case involved gathering evidence to support the charges, leading to his conviction.

Detectives in the North East of Britain have launched an appeal for information following the discovery of a 47-year-old man with serious injuries in the Gardner Road area of Kincorth in Aberdeen on Sunday 26 October 2025 at approximately 05:50 GMT.

​Emergency Services responded to the scene, and the individual was transported to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for medical attention.

Enquiries are in progress to ascertain the full circumstances surrounding the injuries.

Members of the public with concerns are encouraged to approach officers.

Detective Constable Justine Hanlon requested that anyone present in the area at the time who observed suspicious activity, or possesses private CCTV or dash-cam footage, contact authorities.

Police Scotland have released an image of a man they believe could help with their investigation into an incident that took place in Glasgow on Tuesday 12 August 2025.

The event occurred between 16:00 and 19:30 on Buchanan Street and within the adjacent Shopping Centre.

The individual is described as white, around 5 foot 10 inches in height, with a heavy build, short brown hair, and a beard.

At the time, he was wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, a black baseball cap, white socks, and grey/black Crocs.

Authorities in East Britain are launching an urgent appeal amid growing fears for the safety of 17-year-old Abbie Hodgson, who vanished without a trace over the weekend, leaving her family and community in anguish.

Abbie was last spotted on Saturday 25 October 2025.

She is described as, slim with blonde hair and was last seen wearing a pink vest and black shorts.

Cumbria Constabulary have confirmed with Informing Britain that Abbie has strong connections to the Workington and Carlisle areas, where she may have sought refuge.

She may be in the regions of Derwent and Esk.

Anyone who spots Abbie or holds information on her whereabouts is implored to contact officers immediately on 101.

Police Scotland are seeking information following an attempted robbery in Carluke that took place in October 2025.

The incident involved suspects targeting a victim.

A man entered a store on High Street, Carluke in the Clydesdale area, at approximately 09:00 on Saturday 18 October, 2025.

The suspect is described as being roughly 5' 8" tall, of slim build and wearing all dark clothing.

A 19-year-old man has died following a Road Accident in Cirencester, Gloucestershire Police have confirmed.

The incident occurred on Friday 17 October 2025, prompting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Emergency Services were called to the A429 (Bristol Road), near the Waitrose supermarket, at approximately 21:45 following a report of a collision involving the driver of a lorry and a man.


Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with Dash Cam footage, if you were travelling in the area, to assist with enquiries.

Details regarding his description, last known whereabouts, and the circumstances of his disappearance remain limited, but officers are urging anyone with potential sightings or relevant information to come forward immediately.

Martin, aged 50, was reported missing on Friday 17 October 2025 but was last heard from on Wednesday 15 October 2025.

Martin, whose surname has not been disclosed by Lincolnshire Police, was spotted on CCTV in the area wearing a white shirt, dark blue jeans, and carrying a blue plastic shopping bag.

Police are urgently seeking help to find 28-year-old Georgia MacLennan, reported missing from the Isle Of Lewis.

She was last seen outside a property in the Grimshader Lochs area at around 16:45 on Sunday 12 October 2025.  

Georgia is described as white, slim, with blonde hair, and was last seen wearing a grey top, grey gym leggings, and black Nike trainers. 

Extensive searches are underway by Police Scotland and the Coastguard, with growing concerns for her welfare.

Road policing officers are appealing for dashcam footage and witness accounts after a serious single-vehicle crash on Bonnyhill Road between High Bonnybridge and Falkirk.

The incident, involving a black Skoda Fabia, occurred at approximately 16:30 on Friday 10 October 2025.

Emergency services attended the scene, and the 18-year-old male driver was transported to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The road was closed for investigative work and reopened around 18:50.
