​Roads policing officers have issued an appeal for information following reports of dangerous driving in the area.

A video has come to light depicting a black Audi S3 and a blue Volkswagen Golf R travelling at excessive speeds within Heathhall Industrial Estate.

The behaviour has been described as reckless and hazardous, with ongoing enquiries aimed at identifying those responsible.

Extra patrols are planned for the vicinity, and members of the public are urged to report any similar incidents.

​A 53-year-old man is in custody after a serious collision at Liverpool Football Club’s victory parade yesterday, Merseyside Police have confirmed.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, dangerous driving, and driving while unfit through drugs.

Officers believe the man bypassed roadblocks by tailing an ambulance responding to a separate heart attack emergency, with no prior intelligence indicating such an incident.

Eleven people injured in the collision remain in a local medical facility and are reported to be in stable condition.


The investigation is ongoing, and the suspect remains in Police Custody as enquiries continue.

APPEAL FOR WITNESSES TO MARTON LADGATE LANE COLLISION IN MIDDLESBROUGH | INFORMING BRITAIN

Police are appealing for witnesses to a three-vehicle collision which left a 72-year-old woman with a broken arm on Marton's Ladgate Lane in Middlesbrough at 17:00 on Thursday 06 June 2024.

A silver Toyota Corolla taxi travelling east on Ladgate Lane collided with a silver Chevrolet Aveo and a silver Mercedes E Class travelling west.

A 72-year-old woman who was a passenger in the rear of the taxi sustained broken arm and was taken to James Cook University Hospital and released following treatment.

The 64-year-old driver of the taxi was arrested at the scene on suspicion of failure to provide a specimen, causing serious injury by careless driving and driving whilst unfit.

The drivers of the other vehicles were not seriously injured.
