The last time Doreen was sighted, on 19 December 2001, she was wearing beige jeans, a brown floral patterned coat, and white trainers. It is strongly believed she would have been carrying a black bag.
Doreen has links to Kingseat in Aberdeenshire which is approximately one mile East of Newmachar and enjoyed having leisurely walks in the area.

DC Graeme Reid, said:
"We had a call from a member of the public about a favourite walk Miss. Jamieson had in the grounds of Kingseat."
Doreen Jamieson's partner, Alan Mitchell, spoke at around the time of DC Reid's comment.
Alan Mitchell, said:
"I am hoping that if the police don't find her, they will at least discover something to help find her."
Mr. Mitchell, added:
"I am confident she is still alive."

There was no evidence to suggest Doreen Jamieson had been in the vicinity of the former Kingseat Hospital or its grounds at the time of Grampian Police's search.
Prior to her disappearance, Doreen would call her mother every day on the telephone.
Her mother, Anna Sutherland, was said to be extremely concerned for Doreen's safety due to her suffering from depression before vanishing.
On the day after Doreen Jamieson's 42nd Birthday, Anna Sutherland gave a brief statement, saying:
"I just want my daughter to return home."
Anna Sutherland, added:
"We are all very worried."
The Missing Persons charity are actively working towards a safe return home for Doreen Jamieson.
If Doreen is in employment, she will either be recently retired from a workplace or possibly speaking about an imminent retirement with her colleagues.
According to a Facial Aging Software app on MEDIA.IO, this is possibly what Doreen Jamieson would look like today at 65-years old.
