Al confirms that a mistake with the Christmas lunch promotion entitles diners to a free bottle of champagne, rather than the single glass that Marlon originally intended.

Overjoyed at the mistake, Al gleefully pops a bottle for Brenda and Nicola and Marlon starts to suspect it might be his handiwork.

Sheepish Marlon confesses about the promotion mix-up to Chas who is at her wits' end. Chas confirms that Al altered the draft of Marlon's email to stitch them up.

Al continues to dole out the free champagne but Chas informs him that the promotion’s over and throws a bottle against the wall to make her point.

Al's plan to wind up Chas seems to be working a treat as she lashes out at Nicola.

An off-duty PC Mike Swirling is concerned by the volatile atmosphere.

Chas holds it together long enough to put Al in his place, but she is left a trembling wreck.

Cain is seething to hear of Al's latest antics and PC Swirling warns him away from Al.

Realising Ellie faces IVF alone, Caitlin has a choice to make about their feud.

Kim's plans for the future stall when chilling news puts her family in jeopardy.

While Stevie bonds with Sam, Scarlett's past catches up with her.

With her egg harvesting appointment looming, Ellie turns to Roisin for support. Roisin urges Ellie to make amends with Caitlin.  At times like these she needs her family around her.

Seeing Ellie grow closer to Roisin, Caitlin can’t help but feel jealous. Roisin urges Caitlin to make amends - before it is too late.

At the IVF clinic, Ellie is stunned when Caitlin arrives.  With the sibling feud finally on hold, Ellie's IVF optimism proves short-lived when the fertility doctor breaks bad news.

Elsewhere, Kim is overwhelmed by plans for the baby's arrival.  Fearing there is not enough room for her growing family in the flat, she tells Bob it is time she moved on.  Keen to keep her close, Bob and Angus hatch a plan to keep everyone together.

However, as the friends look forward to their new future together, Lou brings shocking news from Kim's past.

Stevie and Sam try to find some common ground and build their relationship.  However, Stevie's attempts to become a football aficionado fall short.

Later, Scarlett is stunned when Duncan confronts her about their shared past, and he knows the truth.

As Karen feels under increasing pressure from Darren, Lenny tries to make amends with Jessie.  Family woes loom large when Mick Mulvaney makes a startling revelation to Lenny.

​Ellie faces the reality of her IVF journey, and Caitlin has a choice to make - hold on to their feud, or be there to support her sister.

Meanwhile, Kim struggles to see how they will all fit into the flat with a new baby, when some chilling news puts the future of their family in jeopardy.

Elsewhere, Lenny and Karen work together to mend his fractured relationship with Jessie and, as Stevie puts Sam first, Scarlett's past catches up with her.

Emma finds the truth a hard pill to swallow.  Back at home a shell-shocked Emma assures Tyrone it was a false alarm and Ruby just swallowed a vitamin tablet.  Curtis returns home making out he is exhausted after his Twin Peak Challenge participation.  Emma confronts him with the pill box and demands answers.  Will Curtis come clean? 

Summer begins to hate her body.  As she looks at photographs of Daisy, Summer feels frumpy.  In a bid to cheer Summer up, Billy takes her to Viaduct Bistro.  But having eaten a burger, Summer feels guilty.  Oblivious to Summer's fragile state, Billy assures her she will smash her Oxford interview.

Zeedan can't shake his past.  Zeedan convinces Marrium that her father started the fire at Speed Daal as an act of revenge. 

Meanwhile, Sally waxes lyrical to the journalist, painting herself as a game-changer whilst belittling Maria's cleaner air campaign.  Maria is seething.  Gary reckons she should put herself up for election and give Sally a run for her money.

Elsewhere, after a successful meeting with Gavin's Personal Assistant, Lydia, Sarah invites her for a drink.  Seeing Adam, Lydia glances at him with recognition.

Emma stars in her own Medical Drama.  As Emma babysits Hope & Ruby she goes to switch off Curtis' TV Doctor DVD but is puzzled to hear the Doctor using the same phrase Curtis used when tending to Harvey the night of the storm.  As Emma and Gemma discuss the coincidence, they're horrified to realise that Ruby has swallowed one of Curtis' pills.  At the local Accident & Emergency Department, Emma shows the doctor Curtis' medication, explaining he suffers from a heart condition.  The doctor confirms that Ruby is fine as the tablet she took was only a vitamin leaving Emma to be confused.

Summer has a day from Hell.  Summer tries to apologise to Daniel but she is hurt when he reveals that he is not allowed to talk to her.  At school she watches Daniel fly out of his classroom and is horrified to see the word 'paedo' scrawled across the board.

Zeedan tries to atone.  As Zeedan sets about redecorating Speed Daal, he is shocked by the arrival of his estranged wife Marrium. 

Meanwhile, fed up of Adam's reputation as a ladies' man, Sarah questions him over how many women he has actually slept with.

Elsewhere, Sally asks Maria to say a few words about her clean air campaign at the press interview later.  Maria is buoyed by Sally's belief in her.

Hashim has a change of heart.  As Weatherfield Police begin to suspect the fire might have been arson, Alya is terrified, especially when they ask to see Speed Daal's bank accounts.  While Yasmeen is being interviewed, Hashim arrives at number 6 Coronation Street and starts threatening Zeedan & Alya.  But as he pulls out his phone, he sinks to his knees, clutching his chest.  Zeedan goes to call an ambulance.

Amy falls on her sword for Emma.  With Tracy's eyes boring into him, Steve suggests to Emma that she scale back her wedding so they can pay for Amy's university fees.  Having overheard their exchange, Amy reveals she would rather go to a local university, in Manchester, and live at home. 

Max is in self-destruct mode.  After Summer rounds on him for humiliating her in front of the whole school, Max attends a meeting with the Deputy Head where he claims he does not regret punching Daniel and wishes he had done it harder.  Mrs. Crawshaw tells David that she has no option but to recommend Max for permanent expulsion. 

Meanwhile, Sarah attends a meeting with client Gavin and his Personal Assistanct.  As they strike a deal, Lydia notices Sarah is looking unwell and wonders if she might be pregnant.

Elsewhere, when Phill reveals his boiler is fixed, Fiz reckons it is time he moved back home.  Phill masks his disappointment.

Curtis continues to spin his web of lies.  Tracy is not happy that Amy plans to use her inheritance from Deirdre to fund her education so Emma can splash the cash on her wedding.  Meanwhile, as Curtis leaves for his Three Peaks Challenge he meets up with a charity worker to give a talk about his condition at the golf club, clearly having no intention of doing the Three Peaks Challenge.

Max faces his punishment.  David rails at Daniel, blaming him for Max’s expulsion. 

Meanwhile, when Sarah reveals that she might be pregnant, Adam is excited at the prospect.

Elsewhere, Zeedan and Alya pin everything they can on Hashim.  Zeedan tells Weatherfield Police how Hashim has been threatening him and he confessed to starting the fire with the intention of killing him.
