In a powerful, uniquely structured episode, the same fateful morning unfolds twice.

First through Shona's eyes as she reels at David's apparent calm, then through David's as he fights to stay strong for the woman he loves.

​Tension explodes when a heartbroken Shona orders him out of the car, insisting she face the hospital alone.  

In the consultant's room, reality crashes down: a tumour on their unborn daughter's neck is confirmed.

If they continue the pregnancy, Shona faces complex, high-risk surgery, and the devastating possibility the growth is cancerous.
