ITV/STV airs a new Emmerdale promotional trailer today Monday 27 April 2026, featuring three lead characters heading into the dock. One stands charged with murder and the other two face charges of perverting the course of justice, as the trailer explores the question of what sentences lie ahead. Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) appears in the dock charged with murder following the killing of his captor Ray Walters (Joe Absolom). The court will examine the circumstances that drove him to the act after months spent in Modern Slavery. Bear Wolf protected his son Paddy Dingle (Dominic Brunt) and young Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) from Ray's control during that time. Paddy and Dylan face charges of perverting the course of justice after their attempt to cover up Bear Wolf's actions came to light.
The court scenes themselves air on Emmerdale from next Monday 04 May 2026.

In upcoming episodes of Coronation Street. Carla Connor (Alison King) arrives at her Hen Party held in The Rovers Return and finds that all guests have dressed in the same style as her, including Roy Cropper (David Neilson). On the street Carla registers frustration upon hearing the factory alarm and states that she must address the matter. Upon entering the factory Carla observes that the space has been arranged for the Wedding Reception and that all their acquaintances are present. Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin), Roy and Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) observe Carla and DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) proceeding along the aisle. Carla and Lisa present their own vows and exchange rings. Mrs. & Mrs. Swarla have tied the knot. In upcoming episodes of Emmerdale. Zara Adams (Frog Stone) visits Paddy Dingle (Dominic Brunt) and reports that Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) has been placed in Solitary Confinement following an altercation with another prisoner. Paddy determines that Bear Wolf's prospects of release have narrowed. Paddy considers the possibility that both he and Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) may receive prison sentences. April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) states her intention to wait for Dylan should he be imprisoned. Dylan develops a plan to terminate the relationship with April in order to allow her greater freedom if he is sentenced. Paddy thanks Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) for operating the salon although Mandy displays signs of concern.
Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) informs April of Dylan's intention to end the relationship abruptly and to cease contact. In upcoming episodes of Emmerdale. Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) organises a Baby Shower for Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill). The cake supplier proves unable to complete delivery so Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) and Charity travel to collect the item. Following a stop Mackenzie's vehicle fails to start, leaving Charity and Mackenzie stationary in a remote area without working Mobile Phones. Charity's waters break at that point. Charity identifies an approaching vehicle driven by Ross Barton (Michael Parr) who agrees to provide transport to the local Medical Facility. Sarah arrives at the Baby Shower and questions the absence of Jacob Gallagher (Joe Warren Plant) and Charity. Sarah checks her Mobile Phone and notes multiple missed calls. Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) observes the same number of missed calls on her own Mobile Phone. Inside the local Medical Facility the elevator containing Charity, Mackenzie and Ross stops functioning. Sarah eventually reaches the Emergency Department and finds no record of Charity on the system. The confined elevator space affects Mackenzie because of his earlier bunker experience while Ross uses the intercom to request assistance. A midwife on the Maternity Ward receives an emergency notification regarding a birth inside a lift. The midwife instructs Ross and Mackenzie via the intercom to assist with the delivery. As Jacob and Dr.Todd quibble, Ross completes the delivery. Jacob observes an expanding pool of blood flowing from under the elevator door. Has Charity suffered a major Post Partum Haemorrhage (PPH)? Charity's age significantly increases the risk of one so this would be entirely possible. In upcoming episodes of Emmerdale. Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) adjusts to life at home after last week's release prompted by fresh evidence. She experiences difficulty because she no longer has her own house. Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) arranges for Moira to spend time alone in the house and Moira anticipates spending that period with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley). Sam Dingle and Lydia inform Cain of the arrangement. Sam adds a remark about Cain's prospects for intimacy. Upon his return Cain concludes that the situation was arranged without his prior agreement and that Moira had shared his private concerns with others. Cain leaves the location. Lydia later speaks with Moira while Moira notes that the plan did not produce the intended result.
Moira continues without her usual responsibilities on the farm. Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) experiences guilt regarding the position in which Moira now finds herself. In upcoming episodes of Coronation Street, the programme releases a new promotional trailer that signals the approach of a murder involving one of Weatherfield's residents previously identified as potential victims. The February announcement listed the possible targets, and each of those individuals has since shifted further into behaviour that supplies clear motives for the crime. The central question centres on which of them meets their end on the night of the wedding, where Carla Connor (Alison King) and Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) tie the knot. and which individual carries out the act. The trailer, directed by Suri Krishnamma, presents Theo Silverton (James Cartwright), Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard), Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances Brown), Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) and Maggie Driscoll (Pauline McGlynn) wearing funeral clothing while they proceed together along the well-known cobbles. They turn into Rosamund Street where funeral director George Shuttleworth (Tony Mawdsley) stands in front of a hearse. George Shuttleworth turns towards the group and raises a funeral wreath formed in the shape of a question mark. The schedule covers five nights later this month. Each episode returns to the same calendar day but presents events from the viewpoint of a different potential victim. At the close of the week Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) locates one of the five deceased, after which the process of identifying the perpetrator begins. Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) calls Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) to the flat for further questioning regarding Summer's allegation that he attempted to extract money from her in return for details concerning Billy's death. Carl admits he overheard a confession to the murder but refuses to identify the individual involved. Debbie responds by ordering him to leave immediately. Sarah Barlow (Tina O’Brien) moves towards Theo’s van, opens the door and begins searching his holdall.
She locates a tablet and prepares to remove it, hoping the footage it contains will bolster Todd's case against him. Question is, has Theo fled Weatherfield before it's too late? The discovery unfolds as local residents begin to register the visible signs of danger at the property. Given the widespread assumption that Roy is attending the bat watch, uncertainty mounts over whether rescue will arrive swiftly enough as no-one thinks he is inside. Carla takes the lead in the initial response alongside Dev and Bernie.
The situation intensifies because the community believes Roy remains elsewhere at the bat watch gathering. Questions linger about the speed with which help can reach the unconscious figure trapped within the smoke-filled flat. Will Roy be rescued or succumb to the effects of the smoke? |
