Next week in Emmerdale. The money problems facing Jimmy and Nicola with their bed-and-breakfast is explored more. Jimmy and Nicola see a new haulage contract as a way to ease the pressure. They put their efforts into securing that deal. At the same time, Ruby sets up a plan to steal one of Jimmy's shipments. She brings Kev in to take a van for the job. The robbery goes ahead and removes the goods from Jimmy's hands. The domino effect of this causes further strain on Jimmy and Nicola's finances. When the stolen load is checked, it turns out to be only nappies. Kev is not pleased with this result. Ruby then takes control of the situation. She points to recorded material that shows Kev's earlier attack on Billy. Later, Kev damages Caleb's laptop. He makes the device useless and clears any stored information linked to past events. At the sten do gathering, a drunk Kev goes up to Billy. He says sorry for the injuries that sent Billy to a local Medical Facilty. This reveals that Kev carried out the attack. It also shows that Caleb and Ruby knew about it. Kev then warns Caleb and Ruby. He says that if he ends up facing prison, he could share details of their part in events. In a separate move, Caleb holds back the fake passports from Billy. Jimmy stays under money pressure.
He sells the haulage business to Caleb and Ruby. At that point, he does not know that the theft by Kev helped create the problems that led to the sale. The episodes follow these steps one after another.

Next week in Emmerdale. The focus is on Dawn and her internal conflicts over recent events. As Joe sets off for what he believes is a standard stag do, Billy and Dawn finalise arrangements to leave using false travel documents. They inform Clemmie that the trip is simply a holiday, maintaining a calm outward appearance while preparing their exit. The pair’s plans encounter an early obstacle when Graham intercepts them. He escorts the group to an open field where Joe has altered the original itinerary. Instead of a conventional stag do, Joe has arranged a joint "sten do" involving a wider circle of friends and family. The change of plan places Billy and Dawn among the grouped company with limited opportunity to make an exit unnoticed. Preparations for a clay pigeon shoot begin. The activity requires participants to handle firearms under supervised conditions. Caleb remains out of contact, unable to reach either Billy or Dawn during this period. The lack of external communication leaves the pair reliant on their own judgement as the afternoon progresses. Dawn steps forward to take her turn at the shooting station. Her stance and direction of aim become a point of close observation for Billy, who remains nearby throughout the exercise. The combination of the disrupted escape attempt, the unexpected sten do format, and the presence of the clay pigeon activity creates a series of practical complications for those seeking to leave quietly.
