As soon as Kevin shuts the door, Abi rakes through her holdall and produces the bottle of morphine she stole before quickly shoving it back into the pocket.
The temptation became too much for Abi and she soon drank a bit of morphine from the bottle just before a visitor arrived.
Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) - who found Abi in the garage - goes to visit her at home. Peter saw Abi take the bottle of morphine from the medical trolley and immediately asked her if she had taken any. Abi tells Peter she hadn't but he knows full-well as an addict, himself, that she most certainly had taken some.
Peter left and it appeared so had the morphine so Abi went looking for him.
Eventually Abi caught up with Mr. Barlow and asked where the morphine was.
It wasn't long before Peter did the right thing by pouring what was left of the morphine down a drain in The Rovers' beer garden, much to Abi's desperation.

At the flat, Paul excitedly enjoyed his day with boyfriend Rev. Billy Mayhew (Dan Brocklebank) and his [sort of] step-daughter Summer Spellman (Matilda Freeman).
Carla told Johnny that Jenny wasn't happy about having to return home alone.
