SPOILERS: EMMERDALE COURTROOM SHOWDOWN: THREE CHARACTERS FACE JUSTICE IN NEW ITV / STV PROMO | INFORMING BRITAIN ON EMMERDALE

ITV/STV airs a new Emmerdale promotional trailer today Monday 27 April 2026, featuring three lead characters heading into the dock.

​ One stands charged with murder and the other two face charges of perverting the course of justice, as the trailer explores the question of what sentences lie ahead.

Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) appears in the dock charged with murder following the killing of his captor Ray Walters (Joe Absolom).

The court will examine the circumstances that drove him to the act after months spent in Modern Slavery.

Bear Wolf protected his son Paddy Dingle (Dominic Brunt) and young Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) from Ray's control during that time.

Paddy and Dylan face charges of perverting the course of justice after their attempt to cover up Bear Wolf's actions came to light.

The court scenes themselves air on Emmerdale from next Monday 04 May 2026.
