In tonight's (Monday 05 October 2020) episode of EastEnders, Jags Panesar (Amar Adatia) was encouraged to tell his family about the relationship he's been having with Habiba Ahmed (Rukku Nahar).
Earlier in the episode, Suki Kaur Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) was seen with Jags' trousers that he wore when helping Martin Fowler after he was assaulted by Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) in the MinuteMart a couple of weeks ago.
Suki railed at her family for keeping the clothing in the house and reminded her children about what if the police came searching for evidence.
Viewers thought Suki, herself, got rid of them but that wasn't case.

In The Queen Vic, Jags arrived to introduce his wide-eyed family to Habiba who came armed with a cupcake for Suki to break the ice.
It was obvious Suki didn't approve but after asking Jags if it were a serious relationship, he confirmed claiming his love for Habiba.
Suki subsequently welcomed Habiba to the family as she quickly left the pub for a meeting.
Out-of-sight, Suki distregarded Habiba's cupcake like a piece of rubbish and headed on her way.
Later, viewers saw Suki speak to a Detective Inspector, who is in-charge of investigating Martin's assault. Suki then told the policeman that she saw Jags wear the jeans on the night of Martin's attack before handing over the garment to the detective thus turning her back on Jags.
