Unbeknown to Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), his daughter has killed DI Mark Malone who is now sucumming to the elements in the local graveyard.
But, the more DI Malone is nowhere to be seen, the more paranoid Will is getting.

Earlier in the day, Will was convinced he saw Malone wander about the village - but in truth, the person he seen looked more like Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).
Scared out of his wits, Will made a call to an old associate where he asks to buy a firearm to protect himself from Malone.

Upon delivery of the gun, Will was even more alarmed when his daughter turned up mid-deal to ask what was going on.
With the gun - quite literally - in the bag, Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) was quick to ask what was in the package. Will was visibly tying himself up in knots trying to think of anything to say to Dawn to put her mind at ease.
As Emmerdale went off the air, viewers were left wondering if Will would come clean to Dawn.
