Viewers of ITV/STV, might just recognise Carryl. She was in Emmerdale as Cara Robinson (Nate Robinson's mother and Cain Dingle's ex-girlfriend) earlier this year.
Before her time in Yorkshire, Carryl was a series regular in Channel 5's Family Affairs appearing in 34 episodes as Kelly Boulter. This was Carryl's television debut as an actor.
Carryl honed her craft at Dame Judi Dench's Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and to be connected to Dame Judi Dench can only catapult her career.
Her career has connections to Casualty and Doctor Who, both on the BBC but Carryl has had experience on the theatre stage being a part of productions such as Flashdance and My Fair Lady. Plus, Carryl was invited to perform for the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber during his 50th birthday celebrations.
You'll see her portraying Kate in a future series of Death In Shoreditch.
