Two Sisters, One Body is the coming-of-age story of teenage conjoined twins Carmen and Lupita Andrade.

The girls are two in a million; they are omphalopagus twins.

One third of twins born with this rare conjoined condition die within just 24 hours.

At the girls' birth, their parents Norma and Victor faced an impossible dilemma; attempt separation, where only one twin would survive, or stay together.

With experts in the United States, the family travelled to Connecticut where 17 years later they remain on a Discretionary Visa Program.

The changing political climate now threatens their continued residency in America, near the medical facilities that are crucial for their continued quality of life.

Carmen and Lupita remain determined to live normal lives, and we meet their trusted friends, accompanying them in their last days of school and their first steps at college.

This documentary is entirely narrated by the sisters, themselves, this is a documentary about identity and sacrifice, which explores the everyday challenges Carmen and Lupita face at this pivotal time in their lives, set against the backdrop of the family's struggle as Mexicans in President Donald Trump's America.
