Hollie was born in Holton-Le-Clay, Grimsby without a right forearm but this has not stopped her from achieving a rather impressive Athletics record and obtaining a prestigious MBE in the 2017 New Year Honours for services to field athletics.
When attending a Star Track Athletics course during her Summer holidays she discovered an ability at the javelin and has been sucessful in the sport ever since.
In April 2018, Arnold won the Gold Medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia with a world record throw of 145.76 feet which is approximately nine-tenths the length of The Arc De Triomphe.
Hollie is a member of Blackheath and Bromley AC.
She has competed in the Athletics World Championships during 2013 (Lyon), 2015 (Doha), 2017 (London) and 2011 (Christchurch).
Hollie is an Ambassador for two charities: Caudwell Children and St. Andrews Hospice, which are both in the Grimsby area.
Handily, Hollie is dating Joshua Morgan, a national Table Tennis coach from Wales.
