In the opening episode, the rivalry between elite gymnasts Kelly (Eva Morgan) and Jessica (Sadie Soverall) turns toxic when Kelly is selected for the National Squad.

How far will Jessica's ambitious mother Natalie (Vinette Robinson) go to have Kelly taken off the team?

Meanwhile, Kelly's father Paul (Warren Brown) is haunted by an accuser from his past, and Kelly becomes jealous of Jessica's growing attraction to her best friend Adam (Sonny Walker).
