Yasmeen finally makes a stand.  When Geoff next uses his laptop, Yasmeen makes a mental note of his password and later when Geoff is in the shower, scrolls through his emails.  Geoff catches Yasmeen redhanded but she stands her ground and questions Geoff about the numerous emails to an Escort Agency and the Spanish hotel booking.  Geoff admits he lied and Yasmeen tells him that she’s going to her grandson’s wedding without him.  As she closes her suitcase and heads for the door, Geoff blocks her way and menacingly tells her that she’s not going anywhere.

Gemma can't seem to lift her spirits.  The audiologist fits Aled’s hearing utensils.  Aled's face lights up at hearing the sound of Chesney’s and Gemma’s voices for the first time.  Gemma tells Bernie that now Aled’s hearing has been sorted out, she can cope on her own and she’d like her to leave leaving Bernie stunned.

Meanwhile, David finds himself in a better place.  David finds Alina in the cafe and apologises for using her.  David and Alina agree that they both need a fresh start.

Elsewhere, when Steve and Tracy reveal that they’re thinking of going to visit Beth and Daniel in Scotland for a few days, Emma assures them she’ll be fine on her own.

​Geoff turns on Alya.  Remembering that Geoff said he booked the only five star hotel in the area, Alya does some digging before confronting Geoff about his fictitious hotel booking and fake heart scare.  When Alya reveals that she’s been to the police, Geoff loses his temper and threatens her.  Arriving home from the shops (Geoff has had Yasmeen on a timer), Yasmeen is horrified and orders Geoff off Alya.  Geoff assures Yasmeen he’d never lie to her.  But when he heads up for a bath, Yasmeen opens his laptop.  Will Geoff catch her in the act?

David escapes from his pit of despair.  David manages to push the muggers off and sprints away.  As the muggers give chase he climbs a fire escape to get away.  Returning home David fails to tell Nick and Gail about the attempted mugging.

Emma realises she has been living a lie.  When Sebastian refuses to move out of the flat, Emma asserts that she’ll go instead.  Steve - Emma's dad - assures her she’s welcome to stay with them.

Meanwhile, when Ken demands a copy of the Residents’ rulebook, an irritated Charles makes out they’re waiting for a new edition to be printed.  Not believing a word, Ken suggests it’s time the Residents’ Chair was put up for re-election.

Elsewhere, Cathy and Alex arrive to offer Gemma a hand but she doesn’t need their help.

Geoff knows Yasmeen is all heart.  Alya quizzes Geoff about the hotel but he is a bit evasive.  Geoff then fakes a funny turn and clutches his chest.  Yasmeen calls for Emergency Medical Technicians but when the paramedics can find nothing wrong with him, Geoff refuses to go in for tests.  Alya and Ryan are suspicious, especially when Yasmeen announces that Geoff is in no fit state to fly to Spain so she’s cancelling their trip.  Alya is soon convinced Geoff faked his heart condition to stop Yasmeen from going to Spain but how can she prove it?

David hits self-destruct.  Gail is shocked to hear that David has been seeing Alina and gives him a piece of her mind.  David storms out, wandering the streets drinking when suddenly two muggers grab him, drag him into an alleyway and pull a knife on him.  Steven Gidwaney makes his television debut as the mugger. 

Emma makes a big decision about Sebastian.  After spending the night at a mate’s, Sebastian returns to the flat and assures Emma he has no interest in Alina and she’s the only girl for him.  Sebastian corners Alina in the cafe and suggests it might be best if she moves out.

Meanwhile, when Gemma finds that Aled’s hearing aid has arrived, she reckons things are looking up.  Bernie remains sceptical.

Elsewhere, Ken is furious to realise Charles is ripping him off.  Norris claims that’s only the tip of the iceberg and he’s ripping off residents left, right and centre with his fines.

The arrival of a vengeful Tyler puts Alex’s reunion with teenager Jessie in jeopardy.

Tyler ambushes Alex over the disappearance of Dave, but Tyler manages to keep his cool.  Later, when The Murdochs come together, Rory tries to keep calm but Lou struggles with her guilt.  Lenny senses something is wrong, but is stunned when Lou confesses it was her who shot Dave.

As The Murdochs join forces, Jessie McAllister arrives in Shieldinch looking for her dad, Alex.  Despite his best efforts to keep Jessie away from Murdoch mayhem, he is shocked to discover that Tyler has taken his daughter hostage.

​Bob faces a dilemma when he’s offered the chance to go on a quiz show with Angus.  With no truce between the friends on the horizon, Bob tries to enlist the help of others, but Angus has quizzing plans of his own.  Dylan, Cameron and AJ find themselves caught in the crossfire of the warring best friends which leads Stevie to stage an intervention.

Meanwhile, Ruby sets her sights on going to Joe’s funeral, convincing a reluctant Ellie to go with her.  However, confronted with the reality of Joe’s memorial, Ellie changes her mind, leaving Ruby to go alone.

Bernie fears Gemma has got more than just baby blues.  As the babies continue to cry, a panic stricken Gemma tries to break the door down.  Arriving with Mother’s Day balloons, Bernie is shocked to find Gemma in such a distressed state.  Having forced the door, Bernie assures her they’re all fine but Gemma dissolves into floods of tears, branding herself an unfit mum.  Gemma admits that she’s exhausted but too afraid to sleep.  Bernie insists she’ll move in to lend a hand but on condition Gemma sees a General Practitioner.  Gemma agrees but makes Bernie promise not to tell Chesney.  Chesney returns home and is put out to find Bernie has moved back in. 

Nick drops a bombshell on David.  David tells Nick and Gail how Clayton has been dripping poison into Shona’s ear.  Nick attempts to go and talk to Shona but she refuses to see him, her Key Worker asking him to pass a message to David. 

Ryan tries to comfort Alya.  Alya frets about Yasmeen, wishing there was something she could do.  

Meanwhile, Evelyn gives Arthur another chance.  Arthur tells Evelyn how sorry he is for letting her down and begs her to give him another chance.  She agrees to think about it before tearing a strip off Tyrone for interfering, admitting she’s considering his offer of another date.

Elsewhere, Ken and Norris sneak out to The Rovers for a treat, but when Ken hears that Eccles will be home alone for the night, he’s concerned and forms a plan to take Eccles back to Stillwaters.

Gemma is trapped in a nightmare.  Gemma has a terrible dream where she hurts Aled, rushing downstairs in a panic she’s relieved to find Chesney feeding Aled but deeply unnerved to think she might harm one of her babies.  When her Health Visitor later explains to Gemma that Llio has lost weight and she needs to increase her formula milk, Gemma is further shaken.  The Health Visitor quizzes Gemma about her state of mind but Gemma insists she’s fine.  As Julie leaves, Gemma fights back the tears.  The children’s crying escalates as she heads out to the yard to calm herself down but as the door closes behind her Gemma realises with horror she has locked herself out and the children in.

David fights for Shona.  David visits Clayton in prison and implores him to leave Shona alone but clearly enjoying David’s misery, Clayton assures him that’s not going to happen.

Yasmeen refuses to hear the truth.  Making out that something terrible has happened, Ryan drags Yasmeen to their flat where Alya introduces her to a Police Officer who has information about Geoff.  But Yasmeen refuses to listen and rushes out.  Alya later finds Yasmeen and handing her the policewoman;s contact card, begs her to give her a call and find out the truth about Geoff.

Meanwhile, Tyrone looks out for his grandmother.  Evelyn puts a brave face on after being stood up, while Tyrone gives Arthur a piece of his mind, telling him to stay away from Evelyn in future as she’s not interested causing Arthur to be emotionally crushed.

Elsewhere, Norris reluctantly agrees to join Ken for the Stillwaters’ art class.

Ben wants to stay in control ahead of his meeting with Danny - but things turn sour when Callum arrives.

The scales fall from Gemma's eyes.  At baby yoga Vanessa apologises to Gemma for the ‘misunderstanding’ over the party and invites her to join she and Imogen for lunch.  Gemma is pleased but as they ply her with prosecco then she hears them bitching about her an upset Gemma grabs the buggy and heads out.  In her emotional state, Gemma fails to spot an oncoming car which screeches to a halt, narrowly missing the buggy.  PC Tinker's colleague realises Gemma may have been drinking.  Breaking down Gemma admits to Bernie that she endangered the babies’ lives, she hasn’t slept for weeks, she worries about them none stop and she’s a hopeless mum.  Bernie implores Gemma to speak to Chesney and tell him how low she’s feeling but Gemma won’t hear of it and insists she wants to be left alone.  As her babies cry, Gemma is suddenly overwhelmed and heads out to the backyard where she sobs her heart out.

Yasmeen turns her back on granddaughter Alya.  After a sleepless night, Yasmeen still can’t get hold of Geoff.  Alya reveals that she’s reported Geoff to the police, Yasmeen is furious and tells Alya not to make her choose between them.  Finally back home Geoff makes himself out to be the victim, telling Yasmeen he does everything for her and she throws it back in his face.  Yasmeen suggests they delay their move to Cyprus but Geoff is seething.  In Speed Daal, Geoff tells Alya they’ll still be moving to Cyprus, albeit not immediately. 

Emma learns to fight dirty.  Emma is worried when she overhears Mary warning Alina to tread carefully where Sebastian is concerned.  Emma tells Alina that if she and Sebastian still have feelings for each other, she’d rather know then she can walk away.  Alina assures Emma that she has no interest in Sebastian and would never do anything to hurt her.  When Sebastian later offers to buy Alina a drink she refuses.  Sebastian is put out and Emma clocks his disappointment.

Evelyn has a date.  Evelyn reserves a booth in the Rovers for her date with Arthur and Claudia offers to do her hair and makeup.  But when Evelyn looks in the mirror she’s horrified to realise she looks just like Claudia!  Having scraped off much of the makeup, Evelyn waits for Arthur in the pub. 

Meanwhile, Gail persuades Nick to give her a few hours work at the factory.

Elsewhere, David is upset when he reveals that not only is Shona still refusing to see him but she’s been in contact with Clayton.

Rhona invites Marlon out for a coffee.  Rhona realises his anxiety is worse than she thought. Paddy offers to take him out on a drive with Eve.  Alarm bells start ringing when Marlon reveals the extent of the pain he’s experiencing to Paddy, who begins to think that Marlon might be having a heart attack.

Belle’s face drops when she sees that Jamie and Andrea are back together. 

Brenda’s suspicious Mandy doesn’t have the ‘Free Marlon’ money. 

Billy grills a defensive Cain on whether he’s dealt with Malone, while a troubled Will watches their exchange from afar.  At The Woolpack, Wil is emphatic that Billy keep the situation with DI Malone a secret and trust that Cain will sort it.  Returning to the scrapyard, Billy is jumped by DI Malone who leaves Billy in no doubt that he means business.

Leyla thinks of no-one else but herself.

Paddy encourages his friend to keeping breathing arriving at a medical facility, two paramedics help Marlon followed by Paddy into the building for evaluation.  Paddy doesn’t realise he’s left Eve asleep in her car seat.  He is finally struck by the horrific realisation of what he’s done.  He quickly rushes to the car, but when he arrives, he’s horrified to see that Eve is missing.  Paddy wracked with guilt over what he’s done.

Malone forces Billy to ask Cain to meet them at the scrapyard. Cain notices Billy’s messages and immediately speeds off towards the scrapyard. When Cain arrives, Malone tosses Cain a set of keys for a transport job and reveals that he’ll be brining Billy into the mix to do some work. He needs them to get rid of a car on Hotten Road. When Cain agrees to do the job, Billy’s unable to believe it and wonders when Cain will finally sort Malone out. Later on, Cain deposits Malone’s car in the scrapyard where he and Billy find a blood stain in its boot. Slowly a plan forms.

Ellis is thrown, but chuffed as Belle plants a kiss on him and suggests they ‘go back to her place’. Belle leads him upstairs, desperate to put the memory of Jamie behind her.

Leyla arrives at Liam’s practice wearing nothing but a faux-fur coat with underwear underneath. Will it work?

Alya gets the dirt on Geoff.  Geoff is cheery as he enthuses about Cyprus, asserting that without Alya in their lives causing trouble, the future looks rather rosy.  Yasmeen nods sadly.  Meanwhile through an online search Alya discovers that Geoff and a past girlfriend were charged with causing an affray.  Watching Geoff leave, Alya heads to number 6 Coronation Street, forcing Yasmeen to read the news about Geoff’s past and imploring her not to move away with him.  Hearing Geoff returning, Yasmeen urges Alya to go.

Gemma feels left out.  Bernie is concerned as Gemma watches over her children, a ball of anxiety.  At Baby Senses class Gemma introduces Bernie to her friends Imogen and Vanessa who can’t stand on sight.  When Gemma suggests meeting up later, Vanessa and Imogen make out they would have loved to but are due at an old friend’s house.  However in the ginnel, Bernie and Gemma hear sounds of a party coming from Imogen’s house on Mawdesley Street. Gemma is upset to realise they lied to her.

Emma gives Sebastian some space.  When Emma confides in Maria that she’s more into Sebastian than he is into her, Maria advises her to play it cool.  With Maria’s words in mind, Emma tells Sebastian he’ll have to make himself scarce later as she’s having the girls round.  But has her plan backfired when Sebastian heads to The Rovers and unwittingly finds himself sitting next to Alina?

Meanwhile, Norris confides in Ken that since moving in, Freda has completely changed and he needs his help to convince her that Stillwaters isn’t for them.

Elsewhere, Evelyn loiters in Victoria Garden with Cerberus.  She’s secretly delighted when Arthur arrives with Kendal and flirts with her.

Geoff bags himself a new bird.  When Yasmeen nervously asks Geoff about the fight he had with someone called Jocelyn Barrie, admitting Alya showed her the article, a raging Geoff sweeps Yasmeen’s plate of curry off the table sending it crashing to the floor.  Telling a terrified Yasmeen not to wait up, Geoff slams out of the house.  Whilst Yasmeen scrubs curry off the carpet in tears, Geoff heads to a restaurant in town.

Bernie touches a nerve with Gemma.  Bernie forces her way into Imogen’s back garden and tears a strip off her for lying to Gemma.  As Gemma stands guard over the babies’ cots, Bernie begs her to open up and accept that she could do with some help. But Gemma maintains she’s fine.

Sebastian fights his feelings for Alina.  As Emma enjoys her girls night in the flat, Sebastian and Alina enjoy a drink together.  Back home Sebastian tells Emma how much he missed her. 

Meanwhile, Evelyn and Arthur reminisce about old times and how if it weren’t for certain circumstances, they’d probably have married.  He tells Evelyn he’ll be in The Rovers tomorrow at 18:00.

Alya tries to make Yasmee see sense.  Whilst Geoff fills Yasmeen’s had with tales of what their life would be like abroad, Yasmeen makes it clear she doesn’t want to leave Alya but he insists she can come and stay.  A valuer calls at Speed Daal and reveals that Geoff has hired him as he and Yasmeen are selling their share of the business.  Alya is deeply shocked.  Alya later visits number 6 Coronation Street and demands to know what’s going on.  When Yasmeen reveals that they’re moving to Cyprus, Alya is horrified and tells Yasmeen that it’s clear Geoff is abusing her and trying to separate her from the people who care about her.  Determined to rescue her Grandma from the clutches of Geoff, Alya grabs some of Yasmeen’s clothes and starts stuffing them into a bag.

Claudia sets up Ken for a fall.  Ken’s interested to see that there’s a Literary Society talk planned for that evening.  However when Felicity explains that Roger has had to pull out and the talk might be cancelled, Claudia is quick to suggest Ken could step into the breach.  Ken takes the stage and reads aloud one of his short stories whilst Claudia looks on proudly.  When Felicity asks for questions from the floor, the first hand up is Norris Cole!

Bernie comes to the rescue.  After a sleepless night, a frazzled Gemma opens the door to Bernie who bustles her way in. Bernie casts her eye over the mess at number 5 Coronation Street and realises Gemma isn’t coping.  Gemma insists she’s fine but it’s clear to Bernie that’s far from true. 

When Tyrone reveals to Fiz that Cerberus isn’t well and Evelyn plans to take him to the vets.

When Emma reveals that her Mum has offered to pay for them to visit her in Australia, Sebastian is not keen and Emma is left disappointed.

Michael enjoys spending some time with Grace and Tianna but when he proposes that they meet for a drink and sort out a more formal arrangement, Grace flies off the handle.

Evelyn finds a reason to go walkies.  Evelyn and Tyrone take Cerberus to the vets.  As Evelyn pays the bill, she’s taken aback when her old flame, Arthur, enters the surgery with his cockapoo.  Tyrone watches in amusement at their interaction.  When Tyrone tells Fiz about Evelyn’s old boyfriend and how she’s clearly still got the hots for him, Fiz is amused.

Alya takes drastic action.  Fixing Yasmeen with a cold stare, Geoff demands to know where she’s planning to go. Calling him a control freak, Alya asserts that anywhere away from him would be good.  Alya begs Yasmeen to leave Geoff and come home with her, will she agree?  With Toyah by her side, Alya reports Geoff to the police, convinced he must have a history of abuse.

Norris tries to recruit Ken's help.  Having sabotaged Ken’s talk and suggesting they head to the bar, Norris reveals that he and Freda moved into Stillwaters several weeks ago.  Making sure Freda can’t read his lips, Norris admits to Ken that he can't stand Stillwaters and needs his help to escape.  Ken is shocked.

Meanwhile, having tidied the house, Bernie suggests to Gemma they go out for tea and leave Paul and Billy to babysit.  Secretly anxious at the idea of being parted from her babies, Gemma insists she’d rather stay in.

​Elsewhere, Sebastian has a change of heart and tells Emma he would love to go to Australia.  Emma is thrilled.
