Sarah's story just doesn't add up.  Gary is unconscious on the cobbles, Sarah pleads with him to wake up.  Having witnessed the whole incident, Tyrone phones for emergency paramedics.  Adam and a panicky Maria arrive at the local medical facility where Gary has been taken for evaluation.  Sarah describes how she was on her phone, stepped out in front of a van and Gary saved her life.  When Tyrone describes how he saw Sarah running and Gary chasing after her before the accident Sarah makes out that it was pure coincidence that Gary happened to be there.  Adam senses she is lying but keeps his counsel and tells the police she is too shaken to give a statement. 

Tim is still Team Geoff.  Geoff assures Tim that everything the woman is saying is lies.  Tim believes Geoff and assures him that if he sees her again, he will report her to the police.  Geoff quietly breathes a sigh of relief.  Tim tells Sally about the visit from the woman.  Sally wonders if Geoff is the one telling lies.  Alya and Elaine meet up secretly in Speed Daal.  Alya implores her not to leave as she is their only hope of securing Yasmeen’s freedom.  Elaine is left conflicted.

Edison is miserable about being unable to celebrate his anniversary with Aggie now she’s stuck in a hotel, isolating.  His sons, James and Michael, try to lift his spirits.  Dressed in his best clothes, Edison sits down to a virtual anniversary dinner with Aggie via video call.  Touched by his efforts, Aggie raises a glass to their next thirty years.

Noticing an opening at Holgate Farm, Sarah uses the opportunity to sneak into the cottage and do some snooping around. for any indication as to where Kirin is.  During her search for answers, she pockets some personal items - what is she up to? 

Bob uses his check up on Dan's welfare to ask if the ill mechanic has thought any more about the offer.  Will Bob be given his out-of-court settlement? 

Meanwhile, Charity's suspicions are aroused after a conversation with Noah.

What happened inside the garage - between Malone and Will - last week is revealed.

Inside The Woolpack, Andrea forces Jamie to book them a romantic meal, it is the final straw for Belle who hurries out.

At the Hotten Outdoor Pursuit Office, Jamie and Jai prepare themselves to interview a smorgasbord of candidates as many of the Emmerdale Village residents fancy their chances. 

Cain and Moira grow closer - she struggles to recollect what happened during the hit and run their moment is interrupted by Matty who lets slip Rhona's partnership with Nate.  Moira feels betrayed and wants to act but Cain suggests another approach.. 

Charity pushes Priya to help her find Kirin via his sister but soon is frustrated by another dead end.

Edison's party plans are put on hold.  It’s the Edison & Agatha's thirtieth wedding anniversary.  Ed is disappointed to miss out on breakfast with Aggie who has set off early for work.  Michael warns Ed that a surprise online party might not be such a good idea, but Ed won’t be deterred.  At number 3 Coronation Street, Jenny prepares the buffet whilst Ed blows up balloons for the virtual party.  But Aggie phones from the local medical facility - where she works - to explain that, due to a colleague displaying CoronaVIrus (COVID-19) symptoms, she has to isolate at a hotel for a while.  Ed is visibly disappointed.

Will Sarah discover the truth?  Gary bungs Bernie a wad of cash and makes out he wants the watch back for his Dad’s birthday, begs her to do her best to buy it back from Sarah.  Bernie does her best to cajole Sarah into selling the watch and offers her double what she paid for it.  Sarah refuses when she realises it is Gary who wants it and she goes over to speak to him demanding to know if he killed Rick.  How will Gary react?  Sarah dials 9 9 and runs away into the path of a delivery van.  Gary pushes her out of the way and is hit by the van.

Alya is delighted with her new witness.  Elaine calls Alya and confirms that she’s prepared to give evidence against Geoff and do everything she can to help Yasmeen.  Alya is overcome with gratitude.

Kevin promises to be Abi's family.  Kevin asks Abi to move in with him and Jack.  She is delighted but Sebastian is angry that she has moved on so quickly from her own kids to Kevin's.

Geoff manipulates Yasmeen, again.  Handing her a contraband phone, Yasmeen's cellmate, Lucie, urges her to call Geoff and show him who really is boss.  Yasmeen admits she is scared.  Geoff’s shocked when Yasmeen calls from prison.  Geoff promises Yasmeen that when she comes home, things will be different and he will seek professional help.  Yasmeen ends the call, unsure what to believe.

Adam gets closer to the truth.  Gary continues to insist on a 30% rent hike for the factory meanwhile Adam sweet talks Laura into telling her how she gets the money from Rick.  When Laura shows him the key to her safety deposit box, he secretly takes a picture of it on his phone.

Carla is back in-charge.  In the factory, Carla announces that Nick has asked her to step in while he takes some time off to look after Oliver.  The factory girls are shocked to realise Carla is once more their boss.  Carla casts her expert eye over the new lease and tells Sarah to leave Gary to her.

Meanwhile, with Leanne off work Adam persuades Daniel to do some of her hours as it is time he started earning again.  Daniel, reluctantly, agrees.

Elsewhere, a suspicious Peter canvasses Jenny's opinion of Scott and wonders what his history with Johnny is.  Still hacked off at Johnny's absence, Jenny insists her only concern is that Scott remains the model B&B guest who pays his bill promptly.

Alya fears Geoff may win Yasmeen back.  As Alya, Imran, Tim and Faye all to make sense of Geoff trying to retract his statement against Yasmeen.  Alya is shocked when Yasmeen calls her from prison and tells her that this latest twist makes her think that Geoff is genuinely sorry for everything.  Alya is horrified to realise Yasmeen is considering taking him back.

Abi can't face a farewell.  Kevin urges Abi to meet up with her youngest children one last time before they leave for Australia or she'll probably live to regret it.  Abi breaks the news to Sebastian that his half brother and sister are moving to Australia.  Clearly shocked, Sebastian heads off to phone Social Services.  Sebastian tells Abi that the adoptive parents are happy for them to meet with the youngsters and say their goodbyes.  What will Abi do?

Nick sees an opportunity.  Carla calls in the factory and admits to Nick that she is bored of pulling pints and feels it is time she got back into the business world.  Nick tells Carla he might be able to help her.

Gary turns up at the factory to discuss his rent demands.  Adam tells Gary it is obvious he’s involved in some dodgy deal and that is why he’s so desperate for the cash.

Meanwhile, when Peter reports that Carla is in the doghouse with Tracy for buying Amy some expensive trainers, Scott is quick to criticise him for not taking the rap for Carla.

Elsewhere, when Adam refuses to mind Bertie as he’s too busy, Daniel is bitterly disappointed as he’s desperate to see Nicky again.

Yasmeen is stunned by Geoff's next cruel move.  On the phone Geoff tells Yasmeen that he loves her and is willing to forgive her and drop the charges if she agrees to be his wife again.  How will Yasmeen react?  Geoff pays Weatherfield Police Station a visit and tells the officer that he would like to retract his statement and drop all charges against Yasmeen.  The officer explains that it’s up to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Is Toyah's dream over?  After Josie leaves, Leanne declares that listening to her has made her realise that they need to make Oliver's life the best it can be for as long as possible and that she intends to take Oliver to Cornwall after all, as a holiday will do him good and his happiness is her top priority.  Imran tentatively broaches the subject of fostering with Nick and explains how they’ve put their plans on hold so as not to upset Leanne.  With Nick's encouragement, Toyah reveals her fostering plans to Leanne.  Leanne admits the timing isn't great but assures her she has her blessing.

Abi has to say goodbye.  In Webster's Autos, Kevin breaks the news to Abi that the twins are emigrating to Australia causing Abi to be knocked for six.

Aggie plays Cupid.  Aggie meets up with Grace and implores her to think twice before ending her relationship with Michael as he really cares about her.  Aggie takes Grace back to number 3 Coronation Street  and makes herself scarce. 

Meanwhile, when Gary calls in the factory and announces he’s jacking up the rent, Sarah is furious.

Elsewhere, Laura explains to Adam how Rick sends her money via his minions, and she doesn’t ask questions.  When Sarah mentions Gary’s outrageous rent demands, Adam is given food for thought.

Bob is adamant he can run the cafe whilst Brenda is away, but concerned when he receives a text saying the insurance won't pay out to help pay off Dan after Brenda poisoned him, accidentally.  Later, Nicola has a suggestion for Bob.

DI Malone insists to Harriet he had nothing to do with Moira's hit and run. 

Arriving at the local medical faciliy, a disheveled Jamie is approached by Belle who senses something is wrong.  Matty tells Belle the police are yet to locate any witnesses, when Jamie reacts curiously Belle continues to feel puzzled by his behaviour.  Also, Matty and Cain keep vigil at Moira's bedside.  When Matty heads home Cain secretly stays behind settling in to watch over her for the night.

Gabby tries in vain to contact Bernice.  Lonely, Gabby tires to spend some time with Leanna, but leaves after realising that Leanna is starting to see her as a third wheel. 

A depressed Liam, acutely aware of his singledom, arrives back from his murder mystery retreat.  Seeing how somber her father seems, Leanna feels sorry for him.  In light of both their parents' sadness, Leanna and Jacob hatch a sly plan to get Leyla and Liam back together. 

​Meanwhile, Kim tries to encourage Jamie to forget about Andrea but she is left confused when she receives an anonymous call.  Not long later, when one of Millie's pictures indirectly reveals that she and Andrea were previously hiding out in Take A Vow, Jamie is left furious at the implication that Leyla was helping them.  Jamie is further confused when Leyla explains she has no idea where Andrea is.  Jamie is left wondering if Andrea has done something to hurt herself. 

​Elsewhere, Bob starts to worry that Rodney and Wendy might be exchanging messages.  Chas encourages Bob to apply for a dating site and beat Wendy at her own game.

Geoff tries to get back control.  Tim and Sally are still at loggerheads over Sally’s support of Yasmeen but Tim is shocked when Sally tells him Geoff tried to visit Yasmeen.  Geoff returns to work at Speed Daal much to the dismay of Alya.  When Imran calls Geoff overhears Alya say she is expecting a call from Yasmeen at 15:30. Geoff steals Alya's mobile phone and when Yasmeen rings she is horrified to hear Geoff's voice at the end of the line.

Leanne finds hope in the darkness.  Leanne apologises to Toyah for the awful things she said.  Toyah forgives her.  Toyah asks her friend Josie to come to see Leanne's flat and explains that Josie runs the support group for parents with terminally ill children.  As Josie tells her own story, Leanne takes comfort from her experience.

Abi tries to ignore the past.  When Kevin gets a call out for a breakdown Abi recognises the name as the twins adoptive father and says she is too busy to go.  Kevin is surprised by what he finds out.

Meanwhile, Michael bitterly tells Aggie that she’s got what she wanted, Grace gave him the brush off and doesn’t want to see him again.

Elsewhere, Laura calls at the furniture shop and tells Gary that Rick has got 24 hours to give her some more money or she is going to the police.

Nick brings Leanne back from the brink.  Imran and Nick urge Leanne not to take out her grief on Toyah, who is just as devastated about Oliver. Nick suggests they should maybe go to a support group for parents of terminally ill children.  How will Leanne react?

Geoff is losing control.  Tim is shocked to find out that Sally has visited Yasmeen, can Sally convince her husband that Geoff is - in fact - the villain of the piece?  Meanwhile back at number 6 Coronation Street, Geoff has applied for a prison visit - will Yasmeen agree to see him?

Meanwhile, Roy touches a nerve in Evelyn.  Roy apologises for upsetting Evelyn.  Realising that Evelyn feels too old for romance, Roy assures her that age is no barrier.  Persuaded, Evelyn phones Arthur and makes another date.

Elsewhere, Can Michael win over Grace?  Edison tells Aggie that it is understandable Michael wants to be a full time Dad and they should support him, not stand in his way.  Over dinner, Michael suggests to Grace they should give their relationship another go.

Nick feels he just cannot get it right.  Steve has had Oliver for the night but a distraught Leanne heads to number 1 Coronation Street at the crack of dawn, still in her pyjamas.  Worried, Nick follows and steers her home.  Dr. Gaddas says Leanne should consider counselling or medication.  Furiously Leanne refuses.  When Toyah calls round to offer support, Leanne turns on her, insisting she has no idea how she is feeling

Sally provokes Geoff's inner anger.  Sally is appalled to learn from Cathy how Geoff locked Yasmeen in his magic box, leaving her there for ages and when Alya asks her to be a witness for the defence she decides to go and visit Yasmeen.  Shocked at what she hears she cannot help but reveal her visit to Geoff.  Tim is shocked when he walks in to find his dad furious and Sally looking terrified.  Has Geoff revealed his true colours?

Roy becomes the thrid wheel.  When Roy finds out that Evelyn and Arthur are off for a walk along the Rochdale Canal, he invites himself along. 

Meanwhile, When Michael reveals that he has got a date with Grace at The Bistro later, Aggie warns him not to get involved, reminding him how it ended last time.

Elsehwere, Johnny phones from France but Jenny refuses to take his call, leaving Carla feeling a tad awkward.

Gabby is surprised to see that Leanna’s on good terms with Leyla and Jacob.  As Leanna and Jacob head off, Gabby can’t help feeling lonely.  Later, Jacob and Leanna both agree to be 'exclusive' with one another. 

​Meanwhile, Harriet prays to God for forgiveness over her affair with Detective Inspector Malone.  She meets with Malone at the church, and despite her protests, it looks like she and Malone are about to kiss again but they’re interrupted by Moira.  Harriet cannot bring herself to lie and Moira is stunned by Harriet's confession about the affair with Malone and even more stunned when Harriet reveals Cain's involvement with Malone’s dodgy dealings at the garage. Will confronts Cain at the Woolpack and tells him that Malone’s back on the scene and Cain confronts Malone, warning him to stay away from Emmerdale. Malone says that he has a new interest in the village and Cain wrongly assumes it’s Moira. Later, Malone breaks-in and threatens Moira to keep quiet about his affair with Harriet.  As Malone leaves, an angry Cain discreetly watches from afar and is left convinced that Malone and Moira are having an affair.

​Elsewhere, Bob and Wendy are on a date but Bob worries Wendy is just not interested in him, romantically.

Leanne and Nick begin to unravel.  Simon reveals to Peter what he overheard Leanne saying.  Despite Leanne apologising Simon says he is going to stay with his dad.  Leanne tells Nick she feels terrible promoting Nick to square up to Peter and accuse him of taking Simon off Leanne.  A drained Leanne agrees to let Oliver stay the night with Steve at number 1 Coronation Street.

As the whole family struggle with the devastating diagnosis Nick apologies to Peter and finds himself being comforted by his nemesis.

Jenny and Emma bond over oliver.  Having found out the terrible news about Oliver, Jenny gets upset remembering her own son Tom.  When Emma admits her fears for how Steve will cope, Jenny assures her that given time, Steve will get through it.  Scott is not best pleased when Jenny explains that Johnny was all set to return with her but changed his mind at the last minute and opted to stay in France.

Fiz and Tyrone have a couple of surprise guests.  Gemma is well chuffed when Chesney orders her to get glammed up as he is taking her on a rare date night.  Tyrone cooks Fiz a steak dinner for their romantic night in.  They are astonished when Chesney and Gemma turn up to join them, Chesney having misinterpreted Fiz's advice as an invitation.  Seeing Chesney and Gemma's crestfallen faces as they head back home, Fiz and Tyrone take pity and invite them to stay.

Meanwhile, Imran hides a secret disappointment.  Toyah explains to Imran that Leanne is in bits and now is the wrong time to foster a child.  Toyah and Imran explain to Karen, the social worker, that given the situation with Oliver, they need to put their fostering plans on hold. 

Elsewhere, Arthur walks Evelyn home and, apologising for getting carried away talking trains with Roy, suggests they have a day out of her choosing.  Evelyn agrees to think about it.

Before long Harriet is meeting Malone in the church telling him she doesn’t want him around anymore, but he makes it clear that he is not going anywhere.  Harriet is left feeling threatened but also excited by the danger of him.  Eventually, she succumbs to his charms.

Dawn and Will meet with The Bishop at The Woolpack but Harriet doesn’t show and Dawn and Will are forced to make excuses on her behalf.  Left alone with The Bishop having gone, Dawn reveals to Will that Malone is back.  Later, Harriet insists Malone has no interest in them assuring Will that Malone's business in the village is over.  But is it?

Over at Home Farm, Jamie is stunned to find Millie in the kitchen alone and Andrea is nowhere to be seen. 

Moira admits to Rhona that Ricky flirting with her gave her a boost, Cain is left secretly gutted Moira is developing interests in other people.

In Emmerdale Village, Leyla is taken aback when Leanna offers an apology for interfering with her and Liam's relationship.

Leanne and Simon's relationship is put to the test.  Simon overhears a distraught Leanne tell Steve that Oliver is all she ever wanted and when he dies she will have nothing.  Simon heads to school for his exam but as he approaches the exam hall he makes a decision. 

Jenny arrives home - alone.  Jenny is shocked when she returns alone from France to find out the news about Oliver. 

Fiz, bizarrely, gives marriage guidance.  Chesney reports to Fiz that Gemma complains they never talk to each other anymore.  Fiz suggests they do the same as her and Tyrone tonight a romantic date night at home.  Chesney persuades Paul to babysit the children so he can take Gemma out for tea.

Toyah sticks to her decision.  Imran urges Toyah to gently test the water with Leanne before ditching their fostering plans.  Toyah calls on Leanne and Oliver, but seeing her sister so utterly distraught, realises she couldn't possibly raise the subject of child fostering.

Meanwhile, Evelyn and Arthur meet up for a coffee and a cake in the cafe.  To Evelyn's irritation, Roy and Arthur discover they have a shared love of steam locomotives.  When Roy suggests they meet in The Rovers later to discuss the Carlisle to Settle line in more detail, Arthur is delighted whilst Evelyn forces a smile.

Elsewhere, Michael feels for Alina when the Telesales Agent confides in her colleague that she has ended her friendship with Sebastian as she can't afford to hurt Emma's feelings any longer.

Leyla tells Andrea she will pay her hotel costs for her, but on the condition she and Millie come home to Emmerdale Village.  Only question is, will Kim have anything to do with it as in Monday's episode Kim Tate was seen outside the hotel where Andrea & Millie are hiding. 

Jacob upsets Leanna.

Jamie and Belle declare their love for one another.

Vinnny hopes that Mandy and Paul have turned a corner. 

Meanwhile, Harriet tells Dawn to keep her distance from Malone she will deal with him herself.

Elsewhere, Rhona and Nate are still fearful Moira will learn of the deal.
