Daisy influences the crowd for Daniel. Seeing Daniel floundering Daisy steps in and grabbing the microphone, tells the crowd that Daniel is the most decent and kindest man she’s ever met. Daniel is genuinely touched.

Kevin is on a hiding to something. Kevin shows the letter to Tyrone but asserts Abi must not find out. Kevin is secretive as he takes a phone call, his face etched with worry.

Meanwhile, Sarah rounds up The Platts and Barlows and suggests they sort out their differences as she wants a joint family Christmas. But as the two families trade insults, Sarah wonders what she has let herself in for.

Elsewhere, Carla realises Nina's problems run much deeper than she’s letting on as she admits to suffering from anxiety over Asha's safety.

Can Max stop his plan in time? Daniel sets up his laptop ready for the carol concert. While he chats to Daisy, Max tampers with the computer. However, when Daisy reveals that it was Daniel who had him reinstated at school, Max is horrified and tries to take possession of the electronic device.

Kevin opens another can of worms. When Abi asserts they need to get in the Christmas spirit as it is what Sebastian would have wanted, Kevin and Jack are delighted. Tyrone hands Kevin a few of Sebastian's things that Emma found in the flat. As Kevin reads a letter his jaw drops.

Meanwhile, Lydia is intrigued to learn that Daniel is Adam’s uncle.

Elsewhere, Nina struggles to cope with her anxiety as she tries in vain to get hold of Asha. Carla clocks her unease.

Introducing: Laura Pitt-Pulford as Carol

Manpreet meets up with Carol and is utterly floored to discover that Carol believes it was Meena murdered Nadine. Reeling from the discovery, Manpreet struggles with the idea that her sister is a murderer and initially regrets contacting Carol. Meena later meets an unknown driver on the Main Street and exchanges cash for a dodgy package.

Sam continues his attempt to win Lydia back and Samson offers him some advice for tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Will and Bernice have an open discussion about their feelings for each other but the atmosphere quickly turns sour when Bernice gives Will an ultimatum.

Elsewhere, Al is pressurised by Gavin to get Chas and Marlon to sell. When a large man menacingly gets out of Gavin's car, Al's heart sinks as he knows what is about to come his way.
