Debbie takes the stage and introduces herself but as she tries to consult her notes, she finds the screen locked and in panic, can't remember the password. Closing her IPad, Debbie gives a heartfelt speech and explains she has been diagnosed with dementia.

Alone in the flat, a restless Todd peers out of the window, but when someone looks up, he hides.

When Nina reveals that Roy received a letter this morning which seemed to unnerve him, Shona decides to go through his post to get to the bottom of it.

Summer finds Theo in the pub and telling him she saw someone in the flat, claims it must be a burglar. With little choice, Theo says he'll check it out. Gary and Ben insist they'll go with him as back up.

Knowing Lisa is due to meet Carla for lunch, Becky plots. Finding Becky on the street, clearly drunk, Lisa takes her home to sober her up. Becky explains she hit the bottle to block out the fact she’s lost everything. Having taken a shower, Becky descends the stairs wearing Lisa's bathrobe, just as Carla arrives having been stood up. As Carla takes in the scene she's devastated and orders Becky out of the house. Lisa doesn't back Carla up.

When Todd asks if he has heard from Pete, Theo lies, making out Pete is not returning his calls. Sarah clocks Theo and Pete looking pally as they climb into a van. Sarah taps on the window and demands to know what Theo is doing. Theo reveals that he and Pete have signed a contract and he’s planning to surprise Todd. When Pete likens Sarah to an attack dog, Todd turns the corner to see Sarah squaring up to Theo and Pete. As a horrified Todd ushers her away, Theo is incandescent.

Dev visits Asha in the Mental Health Unit. Asha explains that she is ready to come home but whilst she knows she has the full support of her family, she is worried as none of her friends have been in touch. Dev rounds on Summer, Nina and Amy for abandoning Asha and reveals that because of their lack of support, she is not sure she wants to come home.

Chesney arrives at the hotel with pizzas for Debbie's choir practice. But he's taken aback to see Fiz in reception, wondering why she is not at Cilla's. Debbie and Glenda row over song choice for the choir.

Becky reveals she’s been sent a funeral wreath with the message 'Rest In Peace - Again!'. Betsy is in a state of panic as Becky meets with Costello, telling him that whoever sent the wreath means business and she intends to get to the bottom of it. In the precinct, Becky furtively takes pictures of a group of teenage girls. At the station Kit arrives for his promotion interview as Costello opens a message and is shaken to see a picture of his daughter. As Kit goes, Costello takes a call from Becky. Outside the office, Kit listens, intrigued.

With Debbie due back in work, Carl surreptitiously stamps 'Paid' on an invoice from Preston's Petals. When Tracy calls in with flowers for an event, Carl tells Ronnie that according to Debbie she paid Tracy's invoice but he can't find any record of it. Carl explains to Tracy that due to an oversight she hasn't been paid but he'll sort it. Tracy is furious as a tearful Debbie admits to Ronnie that her symptoms appear to be getting worse. Ronnie suggests she should give up work, will Debbie agree?

Exhausted and masking her guilt, Fiz tells Tyrone that Cilla has to go in for an operation and there is no-one to look after her. Tyrone insists she must go and assures her that he can cope for a few days. Tyrone calls at the cab office and tells Cassie he needs a lift to physiotherapy. Taking off her headset, Cassie insists on driving him.

Meanwhile, when Todd accuses Theo of rail-roading him into doing a half marathon, Theo tells him that it is for his own good and they will be going for another run later as part of their training. Kevin shows Steve and Dev the barrel of beer and the dart board he has bought and explains he’s recreating his own pub so he can avoid Abi and Carl.

Elsewhere, Dev reveals that Asha has asked him to visit tomorrow.

Theo discovers Todd asleep on the sofa, selects the white shirts from the laundry, starts washing them, and leaves. George worries when Todd is late and unreachable.

Christina assists with preparations before visiting the flat, where Todd realises his alarm failed, he's delayed, and his shirts are unavailable.

George, upset, replaces Todd with Christina for the task, leaving Todd frustrated as they depart without him.

Theo encourages Todd to respond, though with ulterior motives Todd doesn't notice. George and Christina return after completing the funeral successfully, and when George criticises Todd further, Todd reacts sharply.

Tim instructs Sally to cease her comments about Trisha to avoid family tension, but at lunch, seeing Trisha with a teenage boy, Sally intervenes.

The boy identifies as Trisha's nephew, prompting a potential apology from Sally.

When Brody inquires about Trisha, Tim responds curtly, upsetting Brody.

After Alfie's nursery reports that he is unwell, Roy advises Abi to have Carl pick him up instead of skipping counseling.

Carl finds Alfie unresponsive, but upon seeing Kevin, Alfie perks up, allowing Carl to pass him off.

Kit settles his items into Sarah's flat, and to mark the occasion, they retreat to the bedroom.

David proposes discussing their baby's conditions with close ones, though Shona hesitates.

Eva and Maggie come back from a spa outing, possibly easing any strains.

Sally sees Tim's phone open on Trisha's Social Media and asks why he is snooping on that predator but Tim tells her to change the record. Brody bumps into Kit who asks why he is not at court. Brody bursts into Tim and Sally's and accuses them of denying him the chance to support his mum. Branding Sally and Tim useless foster parents, Brody is shocked to realise Joanie and her Social Worker have just walked in.

Theo’s down at having no work while Todd preps for a lavish funeral for a local councillor. Gary tells Theo that Pete has offered him a contract, despite their previous falling-out. When Gary suggests that if Todd could smooth things over with Pete it may secure Theo some work too. Will Todd agree?

Tyrone informs Kevin he’s returning to work in the office. He’s taken aback when Kevin makes it clear he’s no intention of opening the garage and is going back to bed.

Kit accosts David in the precinct and accuses him of winding up Sarah with his jibes about their relationship. David is unrepentant and shoves past him, so a seething Kit arrests him for assaulting a Police Officer. When David fails to show up to take her for her scan, a fuming Shona asks Sarah for a lift. David pleads with Kit to let him go as he couldn't bear to let Shona down. Kit relents and drives David to the Medical Facility. David and Shona gaze at their baby on the monitor. But the sonographer's face clouds as they point out a mass on the baby's neck.

Lisa asks Becky outright if she was telling the truth about being spied on at her flat. Becky makes a show of taking offence at Lisa's lack of trust. Carla advises Lisa to wake up, pointing out that if Becky really was in danger, there's no way she would risk her daughter's safety by hiding out in Betsy's home. Becky overhears, how will she react?

Ruby and Hope scream at each other while Tyrone tries weakly to intervene. Stressed to the eyeballs, Fiz complains at having to do everything. In the factory, Fiz has a meltdown and starts viciously whacking her sewing machine. Izzy, Kirk and Michael watch helpless.

As Ben and Eva look for an athletics club for Will, Eva's ears prick up when James mentions that he's a Personal Trainer. James takes Will for a PT session but Will is not interested, burying his head in his phone.

Shona is unimpressed to learn that Carl is leaving Abi to complete the flat move by herself.

Lisa visits Costello to ask if there is any loophole that will allow her and Carla to marry. Costello insists not and instructs Lisa to force Becky to go back to being dead in Spain. As Lisa explains to Carla that a wedding could see her charged with bigamy, an angry Carla accuses her of keeping her options open. Lisa tells Betsy about her row with Carla. When Betsy questions whether she still has feelings for Becky, Lisa is rattled. Costello tells Becky he has booked her a flight to Spain for tomorrow and, if she doesn't go quietly, he will have her killed like he did Tia Wardley.

Will sets off for his first day at Weathy High. Will meets Liam and realising they are neighbours, persuades Liam to skive off with him. In The Rovers back room, Will confides in Liam about his girlfriend. But when Maggie finds the lads sharing a beer how will she react?

David pretends he hs bought Shona a six-pack of beer for their anniversary, before revealing he has booked a table at The Bistro. However when they arrive to discover that David mistakenly booked a table for tomorrow night, they are forced to share with Kit and Sarah, making for an awkward evening.

Meanwhile, Ruby tells Fiz and Tyrone she’s being teased for having a "cringey and clapped" Mobile Phone. When Tyrone declares they can't afford a new one, Ruby is fed up. Hope arrives home from school and shows Tyrone the latest nasty message she has received. He is horrified to read the insult, "cringey and clapped".

Elsewhere, Abi enquires about renting Lauren's old flat.
