Moira is awkward when Cain is insistent on planning hospice care for Faith knowing she won't need it. Faith plans a day of fun for everyone but the atmosphere is tarnished, due to Chas and Cain's persistence with the chat about planning for the hospice. Faith is guilty of her deception. Alone, Moira asks Faith to share her plans for her death, but Faith replies that she can't do that as it will implicate her as assisting suicide is a crime. She is insistent that she wants to be able to choose the moment and have some control over her death.

Chas receives a message from Al asking to meet.

Meanwhile, the next day during a clandestine meeting outside Emmerdale Village, Terry and Sandra's scheme picks up momentum. Vinny is shocked when Mandy insists it is actually Sandra who is responsible for his fallout with Liv and Mandy has a plan for revenge. Later, Vinny apologises for his behaviour and Liv is chuffed with his change of heart as they agree to all move to Spain together.

Elsewhere, breakfast at Home Farm is a frosty affair as Will stews over Dawn's refusal to attend their wedding. Kim bites her lip and goes to apologise to her future daughter-in-law. But will it work?

Dawn worries about the upcoming visit from Social Services. Kim is left to think when it becomes clear there are too many children all under one roof. When Gabby suggests she and Thomas move in with Bernice for a while, Kim is riled knowing Clemmie is the real reason.

Cain arrives to see Faith and finalise the details of her dying wishes. Whilst going over Faith's wishes, the distress causes a confused Faith to believe Cain is actually Shadrach. Cain is shocked when she brandishes a frying pan and screams for him to get away.

Meanwhile, Mandy is alarmed to hear Liv has had alcohol. She doesn't do well in concealing her worry.

Elsewhere, Naomi is guilty when an angry Nate confronts her about Nicola's attack and her lies. Nate is resistant when Naomi pleads with him to see the real her. Naomi is upset when Nate ends things between them.
