In a bid to try and stop the house sales falling through, Ray telephones the bank. Meanwhile, as Alya helps Yasmeen with the last of her things, a call from the solicitor advises that there has been a delay as Ray's funds have yet to clear in the account. Yasmeen asserts that until she sees the colour of Ray's money, she is going nowhere and won't let him bully her like Geoff did. Alya is delighted to see a glimpse of her old Grandma.
The Platts say goodbye to number 8 Coronation Street. As the heartbroken Platts move out of their home, Alya tells David about the cash flow problem that Ray is having.
