The Survival Challenge inaugurates with enthusiastic passion from the participants.  

Firstly, the teams go onto their rafts to go down a river leading Billy & Ben to offer words of encouragement to their teammates.

Initially it goes well but disaster soon strikes leaving Victoria, David, Manpreet & Charles struggling to remain above water.

Meena's plan to sabotage Victoria's safety equipment looks to be scuppered when she sees Manpreet take the defective harness. 

In typical Marlon & Paddy style, the pair get lost in woodlands causing them to become increasingly frustrated with each other. 

Meanwhile, Charity & Mackenzie separate each other (to the delight of Charity & Vanessa fans) in an attempt to cheat the race. 

​Elsewhere, Priya & Ellis wander off into the woods for some activities not on the agenda.
