Essie puts on a brave face, but the effects of chemotherapy start to take a toll.

Guy has a lot to prove as he faces a challenging case on his first day on AAU.

Jac tries to keep things professional with Kian on the ward, but he has other ideas.

Essie attempts to act as if there is nothing to worry about as she starts chemotherapy, but confides in Fletch that she knows they will both face difficult decisions in the future.

Guy's past is dredged up, but gets the chance to prove he is better than his reputation - if he can convince Ric to let him operate.

Jac is determined to secure a bright future for Darwin after losing a profitable contract, but fears her feelings for Kian may be a distraction.
