This week in Shieldinch...

A sinister presence casts a shadow over Poppy’s secret plans for Stevie’s surprise 40th birthday party.

Lenny enlists Eve’s help to quash tensions between Lou and Rory.

Stevie is in a reflective mood when he feels his birthday has been forgotten.

Poppy plans the perfect surprise 40th for Stevie, but nuisance phone calls cause concern.  Things go from bad to worse when the chef and entertainment cancel.  Cameron steps in to save the day for Poppy, enlisting the help of Dylan.

With the unknown caller still pestering Poppy, she grows increasingly uneasy, confessing to Scarlett that she’s certain someone has been watching her for a while.  Poppy considers who might be behind the calls and Nicole quickly becomes the prime suspect.

Determined nothing will spoil Stevie’s party, Poppy does her best to shut down her harasser.  But when Poppy’s perfect party takes an unsettling turn for all to see, she starts to believe she has a stalker.

With DCI Rachel Grant out of the picture, Lenny urges Rory to let go of the resentment he feels towards Lou. Lenny invites Lou and Eve over for dinner, determined to smooth tensions and work out a truce.

As Rory and Lou are forced to confront their tensions, the pair realise that they may have more in common than they realise.

Stevie thinks everyone has forgotten his 40th birthday and is feeling miffed. Moping off to work, he is kidnapped by Bob and Angus, who dupe him into believing they have a special day of celebrations planned - but only succeed in making him feel more overlooked than ever.
