Poppy investigates a new line of inquiry, with huge implications for Caitlin’s trial.
Jessie takes control as the Murdoch men clash.
Scarlett lies to get Bob’s help with a local initiative.
Discovering Caitlin’s trial date is looming, an invigorated Poppy interrogates Caitlin about the details of the night that Joe was killed, but grows frustrated by her lack of focus. Poppy turns to Nicole to fill in the gaps, and begins to suspect the barmaid might know more than she’s letting on.
Later, Poppy unnerves Caitlin when she reveals Joe suffered a second blow to his head on the night he died. Hysterical, Caitlin insists she only hit him once which makes Poppy wonder if Nicole has blood on her hands.
Determined to uncover the truth for her client, Poppy enlists the help of local journalist Anthony to dig into Nicole’s past - and uncovers some startling evidence.
Elsewhere, Jessie tries to bond with her family but finds herself pushed aside, as Alex and Rory fight over Murdoch business.
Tensions rise when Alex discovers Lenny and Rory are allowing drugs to go through the Candle Rooms. Eager to shield Jessie from any illicit activity, Alex is stunned when his daughter intervenes to divert police attention from Jac.
Determined to rebuild her damaged reputation, Scarlett focuses her energy on creating a memorable new criminal watch scheme. However, when she struggles to find a model to front the campaign, Scarlett dupes Bob into lending a hand.
