Still in prison, Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King), will let her cellmate know that she is to be visited by a women's charity to talk about her case. When the charity representative arrives, Yasmeen is given food for thought. Later, Yasmeen's cellmate will give her a book on coercive control, upon reading the information, Yasmeen soon telephones Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) explaining she wants to be with him again. Is the book giving Yasmeen a new plan of 'attack'? The charity representative will have a long conversation with Yasmeen. Yasmeen's troubles soon become insurmountable and she will suffer a heart attack. It is upto Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) to tell Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) about her grandmother's grave condition.

Emmerdale will revisit Lydia's Huntington's Disease storyline, next week. In the park, Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) will open up to Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) on her struggles with anxiety over taking the test. Viewers will see Chas support Lydia in her woes in some nicely written and beautifully performed scenes. These scenes air Monday 20 July 2020, on ITV/STV, at 19:00.

CARLA AND PETER TO AID IN NEW ABI FRANKLIN DRUG ADDICTION STORYLINE | CORONATION STREET SPOILERS14/7/2020 This week in Coronation Street viewers will see Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) suffer a freak accident at work when her arm gets caught in a vehicle engine and will require medical attention after passing out. In next week's episodes Coronation Street fans will see Abi go down a slippery slope as she battles chronic pain from her injuries and is taking morphine when Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) is at the garage. As Abi takes morphine, Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) will arrive and she'll hide it away stuffing it down the side of the sofa. Peter, being an adict himself, will ask Abi if she took anything from the medical facility she was admitted to following her accident. Abi will immediately be on the defence and insist she never took anything. Upon being satisfied with what Abi told him Peter leaves but she will soon be livid as the morphine has disappeared. Soon Abi will be seen confronting Peter about this in The Rovers. Discussing Abi with Carla, Carla Connor (Alison King) thinks Abi will manifest a new addiction. Carla, being the only woman Peter will listen to, is given food-for-thought. Taking on-board what the love of his life had to say, Peter heads back to see Abi and tells her she needs to get some help - but he surprisingly keeps this from Carla and when Carla is lied to, Miss. Connor is suspicious because it wasn't a million years ago that Abi was in love with Peter. Carla, who suffers from severe mental health issues, cannot afford to have any paranoia back in her life. Viewers can only hope Peter notices and supports Carla in the way she deserves. Why is Peter lying to Carla about his time with Abi? Is there more to this than meets the eye? Coronation Street wouldn't split Carla & Peter up again, surely. But, this isn't all. Sue Devaney reprises her role as Kevin Webster's sister, Debbie, and things get even more dramatic for Abi. Debbie wastes no time in giving Abi a warning to not mess with Kevin. Abi assures Debbie she wouldn't dream of it. Debbie isn't sure of Abi to begin with but can Abi win her round?
It's a big week for Sally Carman on the cobbles next week. These scenes air from Monday 24 August 2020 on ITV/STV. As viewers will be aware, it was Jamie who is responsible for Moira's critical condition in a nearby medical facility. The only person who knows this is Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale), well, not for much longer. During a discussion, Emmerdale fans will see Andrea accidentally divulging the incriminating information to her mother-in-law, Kim Tate (Claire King). Kim will step-up for Jamie and will be seen trying to clear her son's name, Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) will receive a shock when Kim reveals she knows about what he did to Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) and that's not the only of his problems - Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) is still declining to have a drink with the troubled vet. Feeling like she's having the upper hand, Andrea will become more controlling by making Jamie & Kim do things her way or she'll tell everybody it was Jamie who ran Moira over. In a bizarre, and quite frankly, sick move, Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) will use his Hospital Radio slot to discuss his marraige to Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King). He will inform his listeners that he has forgiven Yasmeen for trying to kill him.

Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) is a man on a mission as he tries to seek revenge on the person responsible for running Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) down in a motor vehicle a couple weeks ago. Viewers will see Cain give Rev. Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) his word and that word is DI Mark Malone (Mark Womack) will pay for what Cain believes he's done to Moira. Unbeknown to Cain and everyone else in the village apart from Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale), it was in fact Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) who left Moira for dead in the middle of nowhere. Can Harriet persuade Cain into thinking DI Malone had nothing to do with Moira's admission into the local medical facility?

Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) is embroiled in wedding preparations for her upcoming marriage to Will Taylor (Dean Andrews). That is until the beloved DI Mark Malone (Mark Womack) decides to throw a huge spanner in the works. During a conversation between Harriet & Mark, he delivers her a suggestion which will completely make the local woman of the cloth utterly speechless. Malone will ask Harriet to runaway with him. Harriet has a lot of thinking to do. Malone wanting Harriet all to himself will be seen by viewers entering the garage and upon sighting Will's car he hopes planting some drugs will make Harriet believe Will is no good for her.
