Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) arrived at 53A Turpin Road to take Violet "Vi" Highway (Gwen Taylor) out for the day. Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) was enthusiastic for his grandmother to spend a lunch-date with Patrick. Making a joke at Patrick's expense, Violet said she's "doing her bit for the oldies". As Violet put her coat on, Stuart playfully/cheekily pressed for answers on where Patrick was taking his grandmother. Patick suggested they were going up west but Violet was getting somewhat flustered with Stuart's questioning. Rainie Highway (Tanya Franks) got in on the teasing and told Patrick she wants Violet back in one piece. When Stuart & Rainie left the room, Patrick turned to Violet and suggested she should think about telling them about what they were up to. Violet couldn't bring herself to tell Stuart the reason she & Patrick are going out was to try and track down the son she gave up for adoption many years ago. Trying to maintain reason, Patick told Violet that Stuart & Rainie will find out sooner or later but Violet would rather wait to cross that bridge when she gets to it. At an Adoption Agency, Violet poured her heart out to a representative called Harriet (Alison Dowling) in hope she can help. Violet gave her son away 35 years ago when she was in her 50's. Furthermore, Violet told Harriet that she hopes to explain everything to the child she gave away all those years ago. The meeting progressed further and Violet revealed to Harriet the birthdate of Christopher - the boy she gave away - as Saturday 11 January 1986. When asked about Christopher's birth-father, Violet was dismissive. Then hoped his adopted parents kept his name as Christopher. More than jumping the gun, Violet expected to speak to Christopher there and then but Harriet told her to be more cautious and manage her expectations. Harriet told Violet the first move would be to see if Christopher has been in-touch with the agency to register his vito. If he did register his vito then that means he won't want to be contacted. This upsetted Violet. It got worse for Violet when Harriet explained if Christopher hadn't registered his vito then it might take a number of months before he could be located. Giving his support, Patrick asked Harriet if there was any possibility of speeding up the process but Harriet was firm and reiterated the process takes time. Harriet went into further details and said Christopher might have died or other upsetting information may come to light. Violet was shaken at the thoughts. Harriet suggested to Violet to be absolutely sure it's what she wants to do. Arriving back on The Square, Rainie & Stuart spot Violet & Patrick exiting a black cab thinking they had just come back from having lunch "up west". Speaking amongst Bridge Street Market, Violet started to argue with Patrick because she was frustrated at how the appointment earlier in the day went. Rainie clocked Patrick storming off so went to confront him about it a little later when he was at The Queen Vic having a drink. Asking many questions, Rainie tried to get the truth out of Patrick but he kept his counsel. However when Rainie said she would keep on digging for answers, Patrick opened up a little saying Violet received some bad news and it isn't his place to say. Back at home, Rainie sees Violet crying and tells her what Patrick said in The Queen Vic earlier. Violet told Rainie that Patrick had no right to mention anything. Weakened with emotion, it wasn't long before Violet dropped the bombshell on Rainie - telling her everything about Christopher as episode 6,377 aired its Doof Doof.
EastEnders continues tomorrow, at 19:40, on BBC One. Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) returned to 31 Albert Square, exhausted, after spending time with Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) at a nearby Children's medical facility. The worried mother revealed Tommy has broken his ankle as well as damaged the sprain further. Visibly, Kat was annoyed with Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) and Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) who were sympathetic towards Tommy's condition however, Kat still blames the two women for the predicament Tommy is in. Trying to make things right, Jean suggested they throw Tommy a massive "Get Well Soon" party when he is discharged but Kat firmly told Jean that no amount of cake or ice cream will make up for the fact Tommy's *footballing career might be over. When Kat left to go and sort something over at Phil's house, Stacey told Jean she was up half the night looking for somewhere to live since Suki Kaur Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) wants The Slaters out of her property. Not only that, Stacey is worried when her Probation Officer starts sniffing around, she might end up back in prison because Jean sent Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) - Stacey's wife - away. Later, Stacy headed over to 5 Albert Square to speak with Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol) and immediately started to flirt. Stacey told Kheerat she would like to resolve all the bad blood between The Slaters & The Panesars and hopes Kheerat could talk to Suki about the eviction, putting in a good word for the troubled family. Kheerat told Stacey he would love to help but his hands are tied. Stacey then told Kheerat she was wanting to get some stability back in her kids' lives. Feeling generous, Kheerat soon gave in and told Stacey he would have a word with Suki. It's clear there's still some sexual tension between Stacey & Kheerat. Taking a phone call from Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty), Stacey let herself out of The Panesars' flat and rushed off to the cafe where she came face-to-face with an intoxicated Eve who was having a go at Suki. Trying to calm the situation down, Stacey attempted to get Eve back home but Suki reminded her that it won't be The Slaters' home but Eve let the alcohol get the better (or worse) of her and told Suki that her children would probably rather die than have a mother like her. Suki then told Stacey that Eve was a liability. Suki left the cafe then Stacey turned to Eve asking what she was playing at also wondering where she had been. Eve was too drunk to give any coherent answers. Back at 31 Albert Square after sorting a minor - off-screen - incident, Kat was apologised to by Jean for Tommy's injuries but coming round Kat realised Tommy would probably have got injured eventually because of his obsession with playing football. The front door goes again and in comes Stacey with Eve in toe. As Eve plunked herself on the sofa, Stacey asked Kat & Jean for help in sobering Eve up because the Probation Officer would be arriving soon. Being plied with water, Eve is told to wise up by Stacey because if Probation senses anything wrong then it's likely she & Eve will be back serving time at Her Majesty's pleasure. Jean looked rather disgusted with the situation. It was a busy day for the front door at 31 Albert Square because when Eve tried to sober up, drinking water in the kitchen, the doorbell rang. As Stacey answered the bell, she pleaded with Jean to maintain a cover story. Stacey left the kitchen to answer the door then Eve told Jean she had brought too much trouble into her life and to go right ahead to tell the Probation Officer everything. In comes the Probation Officer and upstands Eve who turns to throw up into the kitchen sink. Jean gave Eve a chance and made up a story about how her Chicken Surprise meal may have needed longer to cook in the oven - suggesting Eve was suffering from suspected food poisoning. It was thanks to Jean the liaison with Eve's Probation Officer went smoothly. And episodes of Garden Rescue. The Probation Officer assessed that married life is good for Eve then left them to it. Just when you think 31 Albert Square's front door saw enough action for one episode, EastEnders managed to squeeze in one more use before the Doof Doof. In comes Suki (with Kheerat) who Eve believes is there for round 2. Kheerat stood up to Eve, Stacey & Jean and said he didn't appreciate Suki being insulted in public by Stacey's drunk wife. Trying to defuse the situation, Stacey told Suki that Eve was sorry but Eve said she wasn't. Furthermore, Eve went on to brand Suki a bully and she doesn't like bullies.
Attempting to get the upper hand over The Slaters, Suki pointed out she saw Eve's Probation Officer leave and she might want to tell her about Eve going AWOL. Jean stepped in and said Eve had been there all the time. Suki immediately pointed out that with Eve living there, The Slaters had broken the tenancy agreement and wanted the whole lot out by the end of the week. Jean said they have until Christmas but Suki explained "not anymore". EastEnders continues tomorrow, at 19:40, on BBC One. A huge bombshell was dropped in tonight's (Monday 05 October 2020) episode of EastEnders. Since EastEnders returned after its break due to COVID-19, viewers have saw Frankie Lewis (Rose Ayling-Ellis) get close to The Carters. After giving Frankie a job at Prince Albert, Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White) thought Frankie fancied her because of all the looks Frankie had been given her. Viewers thought Frankie has an unhealthy obsession with Oliver Carter (Harry Farr) as he looks like her brother who died. It was suggested, although never mentioned on-screen, Frankie were to abduct Oliver to replace her brother but that wasn't it either. Upon finding out Frankie took Oliver to the park all on her own, Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) became concerned because he, too, thought Frankie was going to do something to Oliver. Making a bolt for the park, Mick eventually caught-up with Frankie and after showing her Mick Carter's version of sympathy about her brother, Mick told Frankie to stay away from his family. Then, the bombshell was delivered in true Doof Doof style. Frankie left Mick reeling after revealing his family may be her family as he might be her dad.
The fallout of this will be seen in tomorrow's (Tuesday) EastEnders on BBC One. In tonight's (Monday 05 October 2020) episode of EastEnders, Jags Panesar (Amar Adatia) was encouraged to tell his family about the relationship he's been having with Habiba Ahmed (Rukku Nahar). Earlier in the episode, Suki Kaur Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) was seen with Jags' trousers that he wore when helping Martin Fowler after he was assaulted by Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) in the MinuteMart a couple of weeks ago. Suki railed at her family for keeping the clothing in the house and reminded her children about what if the police came searching for evidence. Viewers thought Suki, herself, got rid of them but that wasn't case. In The Queen Vic, Jags arrived to introduce his wide-eyed family to Habiba who came armed with a cupcake for Suki to break the ice.
It was obvious Suki didn't approve but after asking Jags if it were a serious relationship, he confirmed claiming his love for Habiba. Suki subsequently welcomed Habiba to the family as she quickly left the pub for a meeting. Out-of-sight, Suki distregarded Habiba's cupcake like a piece of rubbish and headed on her way. Later, viewers saw Suki speak to a Detective Inspector, who is in-charge of investigating Martin's assault. Suki then told the policeman that she saw Jags wear the jeans on the night of Martin's attack before handing over the garment to the detective thus turning her back on Jags. EastEnders continues tomorrow on BBC One. Since arriving in Walford, on-screen, Frankie Lewis (Rose Ayling Ellis) has been somewhat of a mystery character. Not much was known about her apart from she's deaf and the reason behind her insertion was to assist the already established Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) as he went through his own battle with deafness. Tonight's (Monday 14 Septemeber 2020) episode, viewers learnt of Frankie's troubled past as her backstory was explored. Frankie's brother tragically died at a fairly young age. Frankie has been employed by Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) to work at The Albert under the management of Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White). When Frankie arrived for her shift, she and Tina had a conversation which revealed Frankie's brother's death. Frankie, a keen photographer, had a digital camera with her. Tina looked through the pictures to find images of a child (Frankie's brother) who looks remarkably like Tina's youngest sibling, Oliver Carter (Harry Farr). After their shift at The Albert, Tina took Frankie to The Queen Vic where they met with Tina's family. Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) and Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) exhanged plesantries while Oliver sat quietly at the table with his parents. Oliver gave Frankie a smile and the reaction on her face was almost euphoric. As Linda & Mick teased Tina about maybe having a crush on Frankie, Frankie was sitting with Oliver and told him about her brother. Frankie's mannerisms were somewhat obsessive over the young boy.
Later, as Mick, Tina & Linda played football with Oliver on Bridge Street, EastEnders fans saw Frankie taking photograph after photograph after photograph of The Carters - more specifically Oliver. Since Frankie seemingly obsesses over her dead brother and the fact Oliver looks a dead ringer to the deceased sibling. As the BBC have previously revealed that Oliver Carter is to depart Tony Holland & Julia Smith's programme in the coming weeks, is this his exit storyline? Will Frankie abduct Oliver to replace her brother? Only time will tell. EastEnders continues tomorrow at 19:35 on BBC One. Since EastEnders returned to BBC One after CoronaVirus shut down production, the abused Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer) has put the wheels-in-motion to divorce her abuser Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) and take their children with her. Trying to disguise her departure from Gray by making out it was a last minute holiday arranged by Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) & Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths), Chantelle had her suitcase packed full of her kids' things. All ready to make her move until Gray found out things weren't quite right with the whole arrangement. Asking Mia Atkins (Mahalia Malcolm) about what she knew of the holiday, Gray was told by the girl that she knew about it for days thus meaning it was never a spur of the moment deal from Karen & Mitch. At the Doof Doof of tonight's (Monday 14 September 2020) episode written by Pete Lawson, Gray was seen delivering another emotional blow to Chantelle by informing her he'd unpacked their children's things and made it out like he was giving Chantelle a well deserved break from the family.
As Mia & Mackenzie Atkins (Isaac Lemonius) waved from the upstairs windows, Chantelle's world - and plans - crumbled around her. Visibly upset, Chantelle had no choice but to go with her parents on holiday and leave her kids behind. Pete Lawson will continue the story tomorrow as EastEnders rolls on. It's been a trying time for Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) as he lives life a completely deaf man but in tonight's (Tuesday 08 September 2020) episode he was given a smidgen of hope. At a local medical facility near to Walford, Ben was accompanied by his Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) & Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) as he waited patiently for his appointment time with Dr. Laghari (Ezra Faroque Khan). Soon enough he was called in for an evaluation to see how his operation went. At first it would appear things weren't working but a guardian angel arrived in the form of PC Callum Highway (Tony Clay), who is of course Ben's boyfriend, and suddenly a miracle occurred. Stood at the door was Callum (who arrived late due to work commitments). Ben turned from Dr. Laghari to see Callum who was asking how everything was. Ben told his lover that it didn't work but upon Dr. Laghari making more minor adjustments, Ben turned his back (to look at his surgeon) on Callum. As Callum was still speaking and the adjustment was made, Ben suddenly heard his partner talking and was given the best glimmer of hope in months. EastEnders continues on BBC One at 19:35 (Thursday 10 September 2020).
It's been a tough lockdown for Chantelle with Gray heightening his domestic abuse. Tonight (Tuesday 08 September 2020) took a turn for the worse at number 1 Albert Square. When Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer) was out of the house discussing her financial arrangements with Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol), Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) was working-from-home on the laptop where he came across something alarming - a popup featuring an advert for Divorce Lawyers. To irk Gray's suspicions even more he checked the Internet history to find it was wiped clean. Chantelle's conspiring was exposed. Soon, Chantelle arrived back claiming she was at a client but Grey picked apart her "slutty" attire and more or less accusing his wife of cheating on him. To make matters worse, Gray stuck the proverbial knife in and declared he wants a divorce. Gray went on further to explain he'll be taking Mackenzie Atkins (Isaac Lemonis) & Mia Atkins (Mahalia Malcolm) away, too, basically denying Chantelle access. Chantelle locked herself in the bathroom and went for a bath. She thought she would be safe until Gray came and unlocked the bathroom snib from the other side of the door - much to Chantelle's horror. Gray proceeded to taunt his wife with more evil games and then - in his most sinister move yet - made Chantelle hold her breath underwater for a dangeous amount of time making her "prove" she still loves him. Pulling herself together, Chantelle manages to escape the house where she sees Kheerat, again. Because Chantelle told Kheerat earlier that she was divorcing Gray, Kheerat told her he would get the money to her in a couple of weeks. To the worry of the abused woman, she told Kheerat a couple of weeks would just be too long as she plans on leaving tomorrow. Kheerat would have got the money to Chantelle sooner if it weren't for Suki Kaur Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) keeping tabs on the family's finances. EastEnders continues on BBC One at 19:35 (Thursday 10 Septemeber 2020).
EastEnders is back after a 53-day sabattical following CoronaVirus closing the doors on production at Elstree Studios and tonight's (Monday 07 September 2020) was a great way to welcome viewers back to Walford. Kirsty Cotton drops a bombshell: Placing the famous Queen Victoria Bust on The Queen Vic bar, Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) proudly told Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) that it was a "fresh start" as far as The Beale Family are concerned. With Kirsty Cotton (Milly Zero) and Ian at court over Kirsty's drug offences, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) is left alone in the pub. Soon, Sharon spotted The Queen Victoria Bust and everything from the day Dennis Rickman JR. died came flooding back to her. Back from the court, Ian was being Ian and asking Kirsty for a "thank you" as she wasn't sent into custody. Kirsty left because she believed Ian would hold something else against her. In Albert Square Gardens, Speaking to Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell), Bobby tried to comfort Kirsty by telling her she's nothing like Nick Cotton (her father) and that was enough for Kirsty to be exactly like her father. In the closing moments of the much-anticipated return Kirsty revealed to Sharon that it was Ian who locked Dennis in a room on the boat and subsequently was the reason Dennis died. Sharon & Ian's happy bubble well and truly popped. Chantelle Atkins wants a divorce: Lockdown at The Atkins has been particularly harsh on a member of the family. Outside Walford East, Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer) waited nervously for David (Tom Joyner) - a lawyer from a rival firm. When David arrived - albeit late - Chantelle told him she wants to start divorce proceedings against husband Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith). Viewers will be aware Chantelle has been the victim of Domestic Abuse from Gray and during COVID-19 Lockdown, Chantelle's abuse has got considerably worse. With Suki Kaur Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) looking on - unbenown to Mrs. Atkins - Chantelle tells David she "needs the best divorce lawyer I can find". What will Suki do with this information? David and Chantelle had a long conversation and things were going really positive for her until he mentioned the potential costs it would be if Gray contested the divorce. Chantelle wore her heart on her sleeve, bit the bullet and bravely asked Kheerat for a massive loan. Carry on reading for why this request was made difficult. Linda and Mick adjust to life out of The Queen Vic: Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) & Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) have been running The Queen Vic for a number of years but before selling it to Ian before the episodes ran out. In the cafe, Linda & Mick discussed where they've been staying - with Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) - and that Mick has been homeschooling their son Oliver Carter (Harry Farr). Ben's past comes back to haunt him: Shrimpy (Ben Champniss) was mugged when at his stall by a lowlife who tried to flee the scene but swift work by PC Callum Highway (Tony Clay) who was off-duty at the time managed to catch the robber and place him under arrest. Sadly, DI Stevie Thompson (Philip Wright) caught up with Halfway later at the Police Station explaining the suspect he brought in is citing "excessive force" and then on his way to a local medical facility for evaluation. Thompson immediately put Callum on desk duty giving him a load of CCTV footage to watch. Viewing the CCTV files, Callum became alarmed as he saw what looked like Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) carrying a firearm. The Panesars are under scrutiny: Just like all businesses in United Kingdom, The Panesars were visited by a Trading Standards Officer who made sure they're sticking to Government Guideliness regarding CoronaVirus Pandemic. Suki & Kherrat weren't too impressed with the intrusion especially since Gray was the one who called Trading Standards on then. EastEnders continues tomorrow on BBC One.
