FANS REACT TO APRIL'S TORMENTOR REVEAL | EMMERDALE

For a number of weeks, April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) has been the victim of online trolling from a mystery abuser.

In last week's episodes April confronted two of her school's more prolific bullies as she thought it was Caela (Ruby Thompson) and Annabel (Iyla McCaig), her accomplice, but viewers all saw Cathy Hope (Gabrielle Dowling) coax April into meeting Caela & Annabel.

April, and Emmerdale viewers, thought it was Caela & Annabel who was behind the nasty comments April is getting on Social Media.

In tonight's trip to the Yorkshire Dales, April tried to celebrate her 12th Birthday but with the ordeal firmly on her mind, it wasn't a Happy Birthday.

After watching Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) reply to an online review of The Woolpack, this encouraged April to finally answer back telling all her haters to "drop dead".

When April left, the camera panned to Cathy who was seen to respond to April's comment thus revealing it was Cathy all along.

Viewers took to real-life Social Media and expressed their contempt.

Could there be a reconciliation between an Emmerdale fan favourite couple?

After Jimmy King (Nick Miles) kissed Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) his relationship has rightly been on the rocks with wife Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler).

In last night's episode which saw Carl Holliday (Charlie Munro Joyce) be abandoned by his biological mother, Juliette Holliday (Amelia Curtis), Jimmy & Nicola had to put their strained marriage aside in favour of the 6-year-old in his time of need and fans noticed they may still have feelings for each other.

Taking notice of a tender moment between Mr. & Mrs. King, Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) - who is Nicola's half-sister - wants to play matchmaker by formulating a plan in getting the pair back together but the only question is, will her meddling be fruitful?

JEALOUS MEENA TO ABDUCT THEO | EMMERDALE

David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) and Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) compete for the final slot at their preferred nursery for Theo Metcalfe (Talitha Taylor/Eve Rowlinski) & Harry Sugden (Teddy Hall/Brody Hall) respectively but an outside contender swooped in and took it from their grasp as Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) revealed Eve Dingle (Bonnie Clement/Billy Clement) was granted the placement much to the hinderance of David and Victoria.

Hindered, yes, but they're not going to be defeated therefore David and Victoria form a plan - a rota of childcare between them - and they think it just might work. Later that day, an excited Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) arrives at Farrers Barn all ready for an erotic afternoon with David. Her excitement turns to fury when Meena discovers David is on childcare/babysitting duties with Theo & Harry. Meena will mask her rage.

The following day, Meena telephones David but when he declines her call so David can carry on his conversation with Victoria, Meena's rage heightens some more and a green-eyed monster awakens inside her.

It's now Victoria's turn to look after Harry & Theo and things take a sinister turn. While Theo is playing downstairs, Victoria quickly pops upstairs to check on her son. As she's making sure Harry is safe, Meena arrives and snatches Theo before Victoria comes downstairs to discover the child goine and both baby gate and back door are wide open.

After freaking out in fear, a search commences for the toddler.

Could little Theo be Meena's next victim?

LIAM LOSES A BABY AND THEN GAINS ANOTHER | EMMERDALE

Tension remains to be tense between Leyla Cavanagh (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi) and Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) following recent events with how things are with Dr. Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson).

In David's, Jacob attempts to speak with Leyla about ditching his A Levels but Leyla has other things on her mind and drops a pregnancy test in her bag.

When she finally has a moment of solitude, Leyla pumps some encouragement into herself and takes the pregnancy test which returns as positive.

Throughout the week, Leyla wrestles with telling Liam or not.

As Liam & Jacob build broken bridges, Leyla's mind remains conflicted.

Just when she's about ready to explain all to her husband, Liam admits he is struggling with life at the moment and tells the mother-to-be that he cannot cope with any sudden surprises leaving Leyla on tenterhooks and the realisation that being pregnant might just break her marriage forever.

BAD REVIEWS FOR MARLON AND APRIL'S ONLINE TORMENT INTENSIFIES | EMMERDALE

In The Woolpack, Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) has had a unkind review on a TripAdvisor style website and hopes to put things right when the people who left the review are coming back to The Woolpack. It's safe to say Marlon wants to prove them all wrong.

Meanwhile, it's the Birthday of April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) and with her online trolling firmly on her mind she fights through her worry faking smiles for Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) & Marlon as she opens her cards. It's not long until she confides in Cathy Hope (Gabrielle Dowling) telling her she is so scared of being at home.

April's Birthday soon takes a sinister turn when she opens a Birthday card and discovers it's from one of her trolls. April's concern increases because she believes the bullies are closing in.

With the party in full swing, April will be seen to rapidly reply to one of her trolls.

When it comes to paying for April's party, Marlon is caught short when his Credit Card is declined leaving him on-the-edge.

As Marlon suffers some financial embarrassment, April continues to be bombarded with abuse from one or more people. It's not long until April gives in and erroneously replies to the messages causing her anxiety to become so much she locks herself away viscerally worried that her tormentor is on their way to get her.

Paddy Dingle (Dominic Brunt) soon learns of Marlon's bank problems and is asked by his best friend not to tell Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).

All this comes your way in Emmerdale beginning 16 August 2021.
