SARAH PLEADS WITH SHONA TO SAVE DAVID | CORONATION STREET SPOILERS

Ever since Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) was shot - and literally lost her memory - by one of Gary Windass' (Mikey North) disgruntled 'customers', David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) has been on another one of his downward spirals.

When David hits self-destruct, viewers will be aware he self-destructs hard.

Over the past number of weeks, fans of the Weatherfield Serial Drama have seen David get himself into some serious pickles which started with him antagonise a vicious mugger who eventually held him at knifepoint for his phone and wallet.

After that David tried to provoke another gang in a dangerous part of Manchester by jumping onto the bonnet of their vehicle.

It wasn't until this week in Coronation Street - after PC Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) gave him a well-needed peptalk - that David decided to settle down as this time he could have got himself killed and he has two children to be there for.

In tonight's (Wednesday 27 May 2020/Episode 10067) visit to the cobbles, Shona was seen visiting her criminal son, Clayton Hibbs (Callum Harrison), in prison who has been filling her delicate mind with poison about David.

For a recap, Shona is currently residing in a medical facility convalescing with her memory loss after being shot.

In the closing moments of this evening's episode, Sarah Barlow (Tina O'Brien) - who is David's sister/Shona's sister-in-law - visited Shona in her ward and have a heart-to-heart with the troubled woman.

Sarah very carefully explained to Shona everything that went on between her and David. About David's rape and how she saved him. Desperate to assist her brother from being harmed, Sarah pleaded with Shona to come home and save David one more time.

Shona was reluctant because at the end of the day she still has no idea who David is - the evil thoughts planted by Clayton hasn't helped either - and has concerns that she may not be happy with him ever again.

In next week's Coronation Street, Shona will return home and be comforted by Roy Cropper (David Neilson), who she doesn't recognise but will she manage to remember who David is and the family who love her?

EMMERDALE FANS REACT TO LEYLA'S SLAP ON LEANNA | EMMERDALE SPOILERS

Relationships are always tested in Serial Dramas and in tonight's Emmerdale it was no different.

Ever since Dr. Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) quickly started a relationship with Leyla Harding (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi) after Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) departed the ITV/STV programme, it hasn't sat well with Liam's daughter, Leanna Cavanagh (Mimi Slinger).

Earlier in the episode, viewers saw a mystery person break-in to Take A Vow and sabotage Leyla's whole arrangement for potential clients Mindy & Saxon. No stone was left unturned. You name it, it was destroyed and when the engaged couple saw the devastation, they cancelled Leyla's plans and went elsewhere.

All viewers know is the person was white who ransacked Take A Vow.

Later, believing it was Leanna who trashed the business, Leyla confronted the troubled teen outside Bob's Cafe. A war of words was soon underway but it became too much for Leyla as she slapped Leanna across her face in the closing moments of this evening's episode.

CLARITY ON THE AYESHA DEPARTING BBC DOCTORS RUMOUR | DOCTORS SPOILERS

There has been many rumours circulating online surrounding a Doctors exit for Ayesha Lee (portrayed by Laura Rollins). After being contacted by a member of the Doctors audience, AndyGibsonTV.com did some investigating to put the conclusive truth out there on the speculation.

Upon discussion with an undisclosed - verified - source, AndyGibsonTV.com can confirm Laura Rollins will be bowing out of BBC One's daytime Serial Drama in the near future.

How Ayesha will be written out of the programme is yet to be determined however fans will sure to miss the popular character post-exit.

4 THINGS WE LEARNT IN TONIGHT'S EMMERDALE - MONDAY 18 MAY 2020 | EMMERDALE SPOILERS

MOIRA & CAIN STILL HAVE FELLINGS FOR EACH OTHER

During a sort-out session where Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) were packing up their belongings from their marraige. Moira was questioned by Cain over if she really wanted to throw out a mixed cassette tape Cain made her. Moira reminded him that he can be "soppy" in a romantic way but Cain was quick to disregard that claim. Before long Moira took the cassette out of Cain's hand and hid it behind her on the sofa. Viewers then saw Cain play with Moira like the old days trying to get the cassette back. Are Cain and Moira still wanting to be with each other?

PRIYA & AL MAKE IT OFFICIAL

Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) egotistically called himself "boyfriend material" to Priya Kotecha (Fiona Wade) who agreed they were in-fact a couple.
Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) revealed to Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontlze) that Lucas Taylor (Dexter Ansell) has far too much worry for his young age. The little lad believes baddies are after his Grandad. Dawn is at a loss as to how to fix things.

VANESSA LEARNS HOW TO EAT AN ELEPHANT

Diane Sugden (Elizabeth Estensen) lent her support to Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) over her Bowel Cancer worries. As Diane beat cancer, twice, she and Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) who is also another cancer survivor told Vanessa about their treatments and to give her some encouragement. Diane suggested Vanessa pick a small milestone, something to look forward to. Vanessa chose Charity to come home with news about Johnny Woodfield (Luca Hepworth).

CHARITY INVESTIGATES KIRIN'S WHEREABOUTS

Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) gets little to go on as far as searching for Kirin and/or Rakesh. Visiting Priya in the Hotten Outdoor Pursuit offices, Charity asked Priya as to where Kirin or Rakesh were. Priya knew nothing however suggested South America as that's where Rakesh kept sending money to for Kirin but Rakesh - a legal solicitor - kept telling Kirin to move on so not be caught by the police. Conclusion: Charity has no idea where Kirin is but she does have other lines of enquiry.

ALYA CHANGES THE LOCKS ON GEOFF | CORONATION STREET SPOILERS

Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) recooperates in a nearby Medical Facility following being stabbed by Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King) in pure self-defence after Geoff's abuse of his wife.

Elsewhere, back in Yasmeen & Geoff's marital home, Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) puts the wheels in motion to protect her grandmother from her evil step-grandfather.

In a bold move during tonight's visit to Weatherfield, viewers saw Alya inside number 6 Coronation Street with her boyfriend, Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott), authorising a local locksmith to change the doorlocks on the house to prevent Geoff from entering on his discharge from Intensive Care Unit.

Alya wants to make a statement: "go live somewhere else, Geoff!"

With Weatherfield Police finished searching the house for evidence, will Alya ever discover Geoff's sinister CCTV cameras which would clear Yasmeen's name?

Only time will tell.

FOUR THINGS WE LEARNT IN TONIGHT'S EMMERDALE (WEDNESDAY 13 MAY 2020)

Here are four things we learnt in tonight's (Wednesday 13 May 2020) Emmerdale.

Will Taylor discharged himself from the local medical facility:

Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) noticed a taxi outside Woodbine Cottage so he went into the house to discover Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) slumped in a heap, still with his coat on.

Vanessa asks Charity to adopt Johnny:

Arriving at Jacobs Fold with documents for Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick), Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) presented Vanessa with the paperwork to put the wheeels-in-motion for Johnny Woodfield (Luca Hepworth) to be looked after by Rhona in the event of Vanessa's death. Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) - who is Vanessa's fiancée - seemingly had gone against the idea but it was soon made clear that the reason Charity hesitated to be Johnny's guardian is because she couldn't stand the thought of Vanessa dying. After a long discussion with Rhona, Charity finally came to her senses about Vanessa and vise-versa. In the closing moments of the episode, Charity told Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) that Vanessa asked her to adolpt Johnny.

Wendy believes Luke & Victoria are perfect for each other:

Speaking to Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) in The Woolpack, Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson) desperatly wants Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) to be her son's (Wendy's son, not Victoria's) to be with her claiming they're "absolutely perfect for each other".

Harriet gives Will one more go:

Pleading with Rev. Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) in Woodbine Cottage, Will is another one who is desperate to make amends with his family. Following a long conversation with Harriet, even swearing on a Bible, Will wholeheartedly apologised for the mess he's caused in recent weeks. Harriet gives him one last chance but if he steps out of line again then they're indefinitely over.

The drama is slowly picking up again in Yorkshire, let's hope it continues.

YASMEEN IS CHARGED FOLLOWING ASSAULTING GEOFF | CORONATION STREET SPOILERS

In recent days on Coronation Street, viewers saw Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King) finally get revenge on her abusive husband, Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew), in dramatic scenes where she stabbed him with a broken wine bottle.

As Geoff is convalescing in a nearby medical facility pleading his innocence, Yasmeen is in police custody, unter arrest, protesting hers.

Geoff's past is slowly coming to light where he has had similar relationships with women suggesting Yasmeen was not his first victim.

In tonight's episode (Friday 08 May 2020), Yasmeen was charged with attempted murder meaning she will be incarcerated for a bit longer until Weatherfield Police discover Geoff's rather illusive CCTV.

"I think I've killed my husband" - Yasmeen Metcalfe.

In Coronation Street, Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) has been psycologically abusing his wife, Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King), and it's finally all come to ahead as Yasmeen was the one who became the aggressor by stabbing Geoff with a broken bottle.

Weatherfield Police soon arrested Yasmeen for assualt and she was taken in for questioning where the local business owner was greeted by resident lawyer, Imran Habeen (Charlie De Melo), who gave her some expert advice.

Geoff has taken away Yasmeen's individuality. All she cared about was the finances to pay Imran. Imran assured her to not worry about paying him for his legal services.

Imran spent most of the evening trying to get through to Yasmeen, explaining she should listen to his advice otherwise he cannot help her.

Will she pay attention to this during police interviews?

ANDREA TAKES JAMIE AWAY FROM BELLE IN GRIPPING SCENES | EMMERDALE SPOILERS

Since the CoronaVirus Pandemic, all Serial Dramas have been broadcast on a limited basis in an attempt to prolong the programme for as much as possible into the future. This is due to Government Regulations put in place which have halted production of ongoing dramas and Emmerdale is no different. As the weekly episodes have been cut from six episodes to just three, it only stood to reason timing would be out-of-synchronicity with Real Time events.

Last week in Emmerdale, Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale) discovered her husband, Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln), was having an affair behind her back with Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper).

Participating in an Easter Egg Hunt, Jamie & Belle thought they were secluded away from people enough to have a quick snog in the woodland but that couldn't be further from the truth. Andrea saw everything.

In tonight's episode - Monday 04 May 2020 - Jamie & Belle were in The Woolpack having a drink - shall we say after their 'celebration' - where Jamie was precautious about who heard what when Belle declared she'd "like to do that again". In true Serial Drama style, it wasn't long before Andrea crashed the party and joined them in The Woolie.

Soon enough, Andrea plonked herself down at Belle & Jamie's table and immediately a frosty atmosphere began to bellow over the trio.

During the episode, Andrea dished out some brilliant passive-aggressivness towards both Jamie & Belle. But it was Andrea, herself, who played with fire by taking Jamie out of the village and away from Belle, to go on a holiday.

It's only going to be a matter of time before it all ends in tears, but for whom?

PADDY TURNS A CORNER WITH HIS ANXIETIES? | EMMERDALE SPOILERS

It's been a number of weeks since Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) was rushed into a local medical faciliy by his best friend, Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt), because of a suspected Heart Attack.

This followed Marlon's wrongful incarceration for murdering Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough).

Paddy is known for getting flustered and during those difficult times, getting flustered was bound to happen. In the rush, Paddy completely forgot about his daughter, Eve Dingle (Bonnie Clement/Billy Clement), who was still in the back of his vehicle.

Eventually coming to his senses, Paddy grimly remembered he still had Eve with him in the car. Leaving Marlon with a medical team for evaluation, Paddy rushed outside to the car park to discover Eve not being there. Thankfully at this time, a police officer was summoned and managed to rescue the baby girl before any harm came to her.

Since then, Paddy has not let Eve out of his sight. Clutching her at every given moment in desperation to never lose her again. Simply wanting to be left alone, Eve pretty much cries whenever Paddy touches her but as soon as she's in mum's hands - Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) - the crying almost immediately stops leaving Paddy's anxiety to heighten.

During tonight's episode - Monday 04 May 2020 - not only did viewers see Paddy lash out at Eve, but Chas walked in on the incident, too.

"You're ruining my life. I hate you" uttered Paddy towards a helpless Eve just as Chas walked in.

After Paddy had calmed down, he told Chas that "you should hate me" but Chas tried to support Paddy much to his surprise.

Paddy and Chas had a lovely conversation about how both of them struggle with Eve.

Chas eventually made Paddy make a promise to her. If he ever felt like he did again then he discuss it with her.

Can Paddy be helped by Chas through his problems?

Only time will tell.
