For a number of weeks, Leyla Harding (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi) has been a victim of sabotage in Take A Vow and in her personal life as demonstrated by a fake profile of her showing up on a dating app when a man called Gaz (Kem Hassan) thought his luck was in when arriving in the village for a date with Leyla.
Today wasn't the most delightful of days for Leyla as that wasn't the only mishap against her.
Later in the 8819/8820 doublesode she was attacked by a hooded criminal in Take A Vow but luckily for Leyla, she managed to get some offence in on her attacker's arm by throwing a glass vase at the assailant.
During the closing moments of the second half, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) was seen nursing an arm wound from where Leyla damaged earlier thus revealing Gabby Thomas as Leyla's stalker.
