After Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) reported DI Mark Malone (Mark Womack) last week, Malone piles on the pressure by intimidatingly telling Dawn her report has been taken as lies.
Then the Detective Inspector delivers his nasiest blow yet - Malone takes out a bag of heroin much to the trepidation of Dawn who subsequently will back away from the drugs.
After Dawn backed away, Malone will try to have the upper hand again by brandishing a gun but Dawn's adrenaline begins to flow and she prepares to fight him.
Emotions will become too much for Dawn and she'll crumble to the floor crying about what is happening.
Malone will goad Dawn into taking an overdose but before long an Emmerdale resident soon comes to her rescue and viewers will see Malone knocked out.
