Adele Roberts, from Big Brother fame, was eliminated earlier in the week and tonight viewers caused Andrew Maxwell, Edinburgh Fringe comedian, to get the chop in this evening's live broadcast. Both crossed the walkway to be greeted by a rather lacklustre special effects display.

What happened to the fire works on the bridge this year ?? #imaceleb

The reason?
At the beginning of the 2019 series, I'm A Celebrity hosts, Anthony McPartlin & Declan Donnelly, explained due to the worrying bushfires that are currently befelling rainforests in Australia there will be no campfire this year and the celebrities will be using a gas stove. Although Ant & Dec failed to mention, the usage of pyrotechnics on the eliminatory bridge would, also, not be used.
NSW Fire and Rescue officers are immersed in a battle the Gospers Mountain fire south west of Sydney. Near to the location of where I'm A Celebrity's jungle is located.
ITV Australia have taken the decision to eliminate the usage of fire within the rainforest.
I'm A Celebrity continues nightly on ITV/STV/UTV.
