A report of outraging public decency was received by Bath Officers at approximately 15:00-16:00 in the Sydney Gardens area of the city on Thursday 21 July 2022.

The local Neighbourhood Team was notified of the incident to assist with their patrol plans.

Officers have since revisited the area a number of times and not seen the man, pictured, who investigators hope can help with their enquiries.

BATH: CCTV IMAGES RELEASED FOLLOWING ROBBERY OF 12-YEAR-OLD BOY

Avon & Somerset Officers investigating the robbery of a 12-year-old boy, including the assault of another, are keen to identify and speak to three boys about the incidents.

One victim was punched while the other had his iPhone X taken from him on George Street, Bath, on Saturday 23 April 2022.

Investigating officer PC Toby Hales, said:

"We’ve recovered CCTV of three boys we want to talk to about the incidents and have been carrying out enquiries to identify them.  We’ve been keen to complete these enquiries before releasing images from the CCTV publicly as we're conscious of the young age of those in them.  However, we're now at a point in our inquiry where we need the public’s help.  If you know any of the boys pictured, please get in touch."

Officers in Avon & Somerset are investigating a burglary in Bristol City Centre.

An unknown man made off with clothes and shoes from the storage area of a residential block, in Hannover Quay, at around 20:30 or 20.40 on Monday 18 July 2022.

CCTV enquiries have been carried out and investigators in Bristol hope members of the public will recognise the man, pictured, who they want to speak with as part of their enquiries.


The man is described as having the following characteristics and attributes:
  • White
  • Slim build
  • Dark brown wavy hair
  • Wearing a black t-shirt with white writing
  • Wearing black shorts
  • Wearing black socks
  • Wearing trainers
  • In possession of a black rucksack

HUMBERSIDE: CRACKDOWN ON MACHINERY THEFT LANDS RESULTS

Humberside Police Officers stopped and searched 180 vehicles as part of an operation that focused on the theft of machinery.

These offences can have a significant impact on the businesses targeted from both the loss and replacement of the equipment taken, to the cost of temporarily reduced activity. 

During three days of action, the Rural Task Force were joined by neighbourhood and roads policing teams at Bainton in the East Riding of Yorkshire, on the lookout for stolen machinery and vehicles.

PC Josh Fawcett of Humberside Police's Rural Task Force lead the operation.

He, said:

"Agricultural and plant vehicles are particularly vulnerable to theft, with assets sometimes stolen to order.  The total cost of rural crime in 2020 is reported to be in excess of £43 million, with theft of agricultural vehicles accounting for £9.1 million.”

​During the three days of the operation, one stolen trailer was recovered and another vehicle was seized, while a total of 14 traffic offence reports were also issued.

PC Fawcett, added: 


"Our region is home to many rural communities and we are passionate about protecting them against those who think they can carry out criminal activity there,  The financial and emotional impact to rural communities from these types of offences can be severe.  It's not just the cost of replacing the equipment, but also the impact of temporarily reducing activities due to the equipment being stolen."​

Police are investigating Criminal Damage to a glass panel of a door at Nisa Local on Oxford Street, Barrow.

The incident occurred at 23:40 on Friday 5 August 2022 in which an item was thrown at the door.

The suspect, a male, is described as having the following characteristics and attributes:

  • Aged in his mid 30's
  • 6 foot in height
  • Medium build
  • Short dark hair
  • Wearing a white short sleeve t-shirt with dark logo on the chest

Appeal after car stolen in Gateshead robbery.

Northumbria Police Officers investigating a robbery in Gateshead are appealing to the public for information.

At approximately 20:00 yesterday, Tuesday 30 August 2022, a man has approached a woman as she sat in her grey Volkswagen Golf on Gibside Way, Metro Centre, and threatened her causing her to flee the vehicle.

The man has then made off in the motor towards Lemington.

While the victim was not physically injured, she was left incredibly distressed by the incident.

An investigation has been launched and officers have already carried out a number of enquiries, including a review of CCTV and speaking with witnesses.

Today, Northumbria Police have issued a description of their suspect, and have asked anyone who might have seen him, the vehicle or anything suspicious, to get in touch.

The offender is described as having the following characteristics and attributes:

  • Around 6 foot in height
  • Slim build
  • Wearing a grey zip hoodie

Humberside Police Officers were called to reports of a theft on Tanfield Grove, Hull, at approximately 03:15 this morning. Wednesday 31 August 2022.

Upon attending, it was discovered that a group of youths were in possession of what was believed to be a stolen motorcycle.

The teenagers are alleged to have fled the scene and following a short pursuit one boy was detained with assistance from Police Dog Puck.

A 14-year-old male remains in police custody whilst Humberside Police continue with their enquiries into the incident.

The investigating team are requesting members of the public's assistance into this situation.

Police release CCTV as part of sexual assault investigation.

Cumbria Police are, today, releasing a CCTV image as part of their investigation into a sexual assault that occurred on Sunday 21 August 2022 on Binsey View which is a minor road from Low Garth to High Gate, Bewaldeth.

During the incident a male has approached the victim and touched her chest over her clothing before leaving the area.

Police Officers are appealing for assistance in identifying the person pictured as part of their investigation, it is believed they were completing the coast to coast route.

Northumbria Police Officers investigating an alleged assault in Cramlington are now appealing to the public for information.

Not long following 23:00 on Tuesday 28 June 2022, the authorities in Northumbria received a report that a gentleman had been assaulted near the John The Clerk Of Cramlington pub on Low Main Place.

A 28 year-old male received injuries, including a laceration to his face.

In the immediate aftermath of the report, officers scoured the area for CCTV and spoke to witnesses, but they believe many more people who witnessed the alleged incident are yet to come forward.

Detective Inspector Sally-Ann Pallace, of Northumbria Police, said:

"Our investigation is well underway as we look to understand the full circumstances around what has happened. We know this is a busy location and we expect there to have been several witnesses.  Therefore, I am now asking anybody who was in that area at that time and has information and has not yet spoken to police to get in touch.  If you think you may know any information that can assist our investigation, please contact us as soon as possible."
