Police are concerned for the welfare of missing Great Clifton man Ronald McCullock. Ronald is 58-years-old and is believed to have been last seen on Wednesday 3 November 2021. Anyone with information should contact police on 101. Officers would also like to urge Ronald to contact this number if he sees this appeal. Officers appeal for information following collision on the A591
Police are continuing enquiries into the circumstances of a road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 20:40 on Sunday 28 November 2021. The collision occurred on the A591 between Crosthwaite Roundabout and Lyzzick Hall, where a black Ford Fiesta collided with a tree. A 19-year-old woman passenger from the vehicle remains in a critical condition and is now in The Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle. Her family are being supported by specialist officers. Two other occupants, a 22-year-old male, and a 19-year-old man, sustained minor injuries. Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward who may have travelled the A591 around this time, particularly in a Westbound direction, especially those with any dashcam footage or anyone who may have seen the black Fiesta in the vicinity around this time.
