FATAL ACCIDENT IN CANNOCK BEGINS STAFFORDSHIRE POLICE INVESTIGATION INTO CRASH | INFORMING BRITAIN

Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after a fatal collision in Cannock on Saturday 22 March 2025. 

Officers were called to a report of a serious collision on the Hednesford Road near the Rugeley area at around 16:00.

The collision was between a grey Land Rover and a grey MG.

The driver of the MG, a man in his 40s, died at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed and are now being supported by specially trained officers.

The driver and passengers in the Land Rover were taken to a local medical facility for further checks, but a spokesperson from Staffordshire Police believes their injuries are minor.

Detectives from Staffordshire Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are at the scene and are now trying to establish the circumstances leading up to the collision.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage of the incident should contact Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting Incident Number 510 of 22 March 2025.

Officers from Humberside Police are investigating reports of a road traffic collision on Sutton Road towards Beverley Road in Hull yesterday evening (Saturday 8 June 2024) are appealing for witnesses.

At approximately 18:20, it is reported a motorbike and Ford Transit van collided, and the rider of the motorbike is believed to have sustained life-threatening injuries as a result.

The driver of the Ford Transit van, a 48-year-old man, was arrested at the scene and remains in police custody at this time.

APPEAL FOR WITNESSES TO MARTON LADGATE LANE COLLISION IN MIDDLESBROUGH | INFORMING BRITAIN

Police are appealing for witnesses to a three-vehicle collision which left a 72-year-old woman with a broken arm on Marton's Ladgate Lane in Middlesbrough at 17:00 on Thursday 06 June 2024.

A silver Toyota Corolla taxi travelling east on Ladgate Lane collided with a silver Chevrolet Aveo and a silver Mercedes E Class travelling west.

A 72-year-old woman who was a passenger in the rear of the taxi sustained broken arm and was taken to James Cook University Hospital and released following treatment.

The 64-year-old driver of the taxi was arrested at the scene on suspicion of failure to provide a specimen, causing serious injury by careless driving and driving whilst unfit.

The drivers of the other vehicles were not seriously injured.

AVON AND SOMERSET POLICE SEEK DASHCAM FOOTAGE TO ASSIST INVESTIGATIONS AFTER DEATHS ON FROME A361 ROAD | INFORMING BRITAIN

Two women have died in a three-vehicle collision on the A361 near Frome yesterday afternoon (Thursday 30 May 2024).

Emergency Services - including a Wiltshire Air Ambulance - were called to Marston Road at approximately 15:10 after a collision involving a silver Ford, black Land Rover and a lorry.

​The driver and passenger of the Ford were both pronounced deceased at the scene.

The women's next of kin have been informed and Avon & Somerset Police have provided them with a specially-trained Family Liaison Officer who is giving much-needed support at this time.

One occupant of the Land Rover was taken to a nearby local medical facility but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The A361 was closed until around about the time of 00:05 while collision investigation work was carried out and the road cleared.

Officers appeal for information following collision on the A591

Police are continuing enquiries into the circumstances of a road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 20:40 on Sunday 28 November 2021.

The collision occurred on the A591 between Crosthwaite Roundabout and Lyzzick Hall, where a black Ford Fiesta collided with a tree.

A 19-year-old woman passenger from the vehicle remains in a critical condition and is now in The Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle.  Her family are being supported by specialist officers.

Two other occupants, a 22-year-old male, and a 19-year-old man, sustained minor injuries.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward who may have travelled the A591 around this time, particularly in a Westbound direction, especially those with any dashcam footage or anyone who may have seen the black Fiesta in the vicinity around this time.

Appeal after three-car collision on Coast Road.

Officers, in Northumbria, are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a three-vehicle collision in North Tyneside.

Shortly prior to 08.15 on Wednesday 15 September 2021, police received a report of a collision on the A19 northbound, at the junction with the A1058 coast road westbound.

Officers attended the scene and assisted with the recovery of vehicles and traffic disruption.

No-one was injured but a gentleman, aged 24, was arrested on suspicion of  driving while unfit through alcohol or drugs.  He has since been released under investigation.

Enquiries are ongoing and officers have already spoken with a number of witnesses, but are appealing for anyone else who has not yet come forward to get in touch.

They are also especially interested in hearing from anyone with dashcam footage.

A6 closed north of Penrith following road traffic collision.

Emergency services are at the scene of a road traffic collision on the A6 north of Penrith, which involved a motorcycle and a tractor.
 
The collision occurred just south of Milestone House.
 
An ambulance crew is in attendance and treating the motorcyclist at the scene.
 
The road is expected to be closed for some time and Cumbria Police eople are asked to avoid the area.

If you witnessed the collision or the moments leading up to it, contact police referencing incident 115 of Friday 17 September 2021. 

Investigators are asking those who were travelling in the area around the time of the incided to view their Dash Cam Footage if motorists have cameras installed.

Police in Cumbria are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the A590, near the junction leading to Bridge End Garage and the A5074, today (Tuesday 3 August 2021).

The collision, reported at 12:08, involved a cyclist and a van.

The cyclist, a man in his 80s, from Lancashire, sadly passed away at the scene.

The driver of the van, a man in his 20s, from Barrow, was uninjured.

Investigating Officers are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage or who witnessed the incident to get in-touch.

Road closures have been in place and motorists have been asked to avoid the area if possible.
