Cumbria Police are concerned for a missing 22-year-old from Brigham.

Police are concerned for the welfare of missing 22-year-old Alex Carter who was last seen at High Rigg, Brigham.

Alex is described as 6ft tall, with short brown hair and is believed to be wearing a thin blue waterproof jacket. 

Anyone with information should contact police on 101.

Officers would also like to urge Alex to contact this number if he sees this appeal.

Do you recognise the woman in this photo?

Investigating officiers at Humberside Police would like to talk to her in relation to an incident that occurred at a public house in Hessle Square at approximately 20:30 on Saturday 19 June 2021.

It is reported that the woman threw a glass bottle at a member of Door Supervisors, causing a laceration to the security member's cephalic.

The woman then left the premises with a group of friends, getting into a white hatchback car that was parked on Hessle Square, before leaving in the direction of Hull Road.

Whilst extensive enquiries have taken place since the incident, Humberside Police officers are now appealing to anyone who may recognise this woman, or who believes they were in the area at the time of the incident, to call Humberside Police on the national non-emergency number 101, quoting Crime Reference Number 16/63046/21.

DETECTIVES APPEAL FOR WITNESSES AFTER SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT IN NEWCASTLE | NORTHUMBRIA

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a suspicious incident in Newcastle on the night of Wednesday 11 August 2021.
 
Northumbria Police are carrying out enquiries after reports that a man was encouraged to get into the boot of a vehicle by a group of men in West Denton.
 
A member of the public contacted police at approximately 21:30 on Wednesday 11 August 2021 to report the suspicious incident in the car park of the Comfort House Residential Home on Middlegate.
 
They described four white men aged in their 20s having a discussion with a male who then appeared to voluntarily get into the boot of a black Vauxhall Astra.
 
That vehicle then left the area but nobody has contacted police to report they had been victim of a crime.
 
Detectives are carrying out enquiries to identify the man who got into the boot and are now asking anyone who may have information about the incident to get in touch.
 
Detective Superintendent Michael Barton, of Northumbria Police, said:

"It is not clear whether those involved in this incident were known to each other.  We have not had any reports from a possible victim but what has been described to us by the member of the public has caused some concern.  Our priority is to ensure the welfare of the man who got into the boot and to establish whether any criminal offences have taken place."

Detective Superintendent Barton, concluded:
 
"We would ask anyone who may have witnessed what happened, or who potentially knows those involved, to come forward and report that information to police.  You can do that by contacting us directly, or reporting it anonymously through CrimeStoppers.  Our priority is the welfare of the man in question."

Police are investigating a burglary that happened at approximately 22:00 on Thursday 05 August 2021 at an address on Arnside Street, Barrow.

Entry was gained through a kitchen window, causing damage in the process.

​Various items including a bank card, food and clothing were taken.

It was reported that a male in his late teens, who had a bicycle, was witnessed in the vicinity of the property at the time of incident.

It is also believed that a verbal altercation was heard from the property at the time of incident.

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in the area of Featherstone Hill, Kirkoswald, at approximately 20:45 on Friday 06 August 2021.

During the incident, a man in his thirties was assaulted and sustained minor injuries.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with relevent dashcam footage.

Police in Cumbria are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the A590, near the junction leading to Bridge End Garage and the A5074, today (Tuesday 3 August 2021).

The collision, reported at 12:08, involved a cyclist and a van.

The cyclist, a man in his 80s, from Lancashire, sadly passed away at the scene.

The driver of the van, a man in his 20s, from Barrow, was uninjured.

Investigating Officers are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage or who witnessed the incident to get in-touch.

Road closures have been in place and motorists have been asked to avoid the area if possible.

Anyone with information relating to this incident can report it via the Cumbrian Police website or by telephoning 101 quoting incident number 86 of Tueday 3 August 2021 .
