Cumbria Police are investigating a racially aggravated actual bodily harm offence that took place in Barrow Park, Barrow, on Sunday 12 July 2026.
The incident occurred at approximately 19:30.
A local man was attacked with an item during the assault and lost consciousness.

The suspect is described as a white male aged in his mid to late teens, of slim build, with short dark hair.
At the time of the incident he was not wearing a top and was dressed in jeans or shorts.
He was riding a bicycle.
Police Officers are working to identify and trace the individual responsible.
The investigation is being carried out thoroughly.
Cumbria Police have issued a reassurance to the local community that all appropriate lines of enquiry are being pursued.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist is asked to contact Cumbria Constabulary.
