Police officers, in Cumbria, are investigating reports of an Arson that occurred between 12:00 and 12:45 on the Friday 23 April 2021, at Snipe Gill, Marton.
Fire and police did attended the scene.
Two areas by the road were alight and the fire spread up the hill.
There were no injuries on this occasion.
It was reported that a dark coloured vehicle was seen driving around the Snipe Gill area at the time of incident. Officers are keen to speak with the driver of that vehicle, who was described as a white male aged in his 70's.
Cumbria Police would also like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious.
